Two small arms to hold you tight, two small feet to run, two small eyes full of love for you, three small sons.

Trevor's 1st Week

Here are some pics from this week. Trenton is enjoying watching Trevor and wants him to "wake up!" I have to keep telling him that if he wants him to grow he has to sleep. Our second night home, Trenton walked into my room and said "Is he big yet?"

Wearing his car shirt for daddy....even though it doesn't even resemble an Acura.
Right after a much needed head wash. He gets greasy fast.
Loaded up and ready for his 1st Dr.'s appt. He is 4 days old.

Dr. checking him out....looks good! I can't wait for the crusty belly button thingie to fall off. I hate that thing...and so does Trenton, he thinks it's poop. :)

Every night, Trevor has some good wake time from about 6-8pm. Trenton wants him in his bed to cuddle. Don't worry, I am always on gaurd to break up any horseplay.

Sweet boys.
Trenton sharing his blue blanks. If this isn't love I don't know what is.

Trenton lined up his teddy and harmon bear next to him.

Aunt Tammy and cuz Cam for a visit.

1 day after hair wash...greaseball. It's my new term of endearment for him.

Showing off his little chicken legs....another motherly term of endearment I promise.
Fuzzy Razorback socks from Aunt Michelle. I'm afraid to wash them they are soooo fuzzy!
Trenton Jr.

Thank goodness someone is keeping up with the plants.

I love this picture.

Going Home

I know, we are obviously already home. I've got to catch up on these photos. Trevor is soooo sweet and pretty much just sleeps all the time. He has some good awake time between 5-8pm. He gets up about 1-2 times a night to just eat and get a diaper change. Life is still easy right now with him sleeping most of the day away.

Daddy dressing Trevor for our ride home. The outfit really swallowed him :)

Mommy putting on your huge booties (they stayed on for about 10 sec. )

All snapped in.

I jumped in the front seat (well more like slowly crawled in) and didn't even think to ride back there with him. This is the moment I knew that you are definately more relaxed with the second one. I even forgot to put up the mirror so I could see him! He kept wiggling those monkey toes so I knew he was alright.

Out of order pic. I still had the same feeling when we walked out that door to go home with a new baby. I can't believe they are letting us take this little person home. :)

More Trevor Pics

Things are going well at home. Just busy baby stuff. It's soooooo much easier the 2nd time (everyone told me that). I can handle night time by myself without being too nervous. I know I can go get my mom or Matt if I really need help. Here are a few more pics from the hospital. I will post a pic from his first dr. visit on Monday. Dr. said he didn't need to come back for the 2 week check! He was already back at birth weight and she said since it's my 2nd, she knows I'm not nervous and she's sure he's fine. I was pumped that I don't have to go back for a while. I would have been terrified to not go back for Trenton's checkup.

Trevor with his Aunt Lexi. Aunt Sydney was at basketball camp and got to see him at home.

Me with my sisters, Rachel and Michelle. Jenny and Tammy were there too but didn't get a good group pic. This was not long after surgery, think I was still a little drugged. Looking rough even though I didn't really have to do anything. :)

Linda (work friend) with new baby. Thanks for coming Dr. Jones, Jennifer, Katelyn, and Linda. Hope you are surviving without me! hehe

Hair shot.

Trenton has been asking to hold him a lot. Wasn't so interested at first. He loves to put his paci in and try to feed him bottles (he tries to feed our dog, Gretchen, too). He has still shown no signs of jealousy and tells Trevor he loves him a lot and that he is cute.
Oh, and we celebrated out 8 yr anniversary yesterday. My mom watched the boys and we went to Shogun. I finally got to eat sushi!

Trevor is here!!

Trevor Knox Trumbo arrived Thursday, June 17th at 7:51 am weighing in at 7 lbs. and 19 and 3/4 in. long. Everything went great and we are now home settling in back into our life. I intended to post while at the hospital but couldn't find the right time and couldn't get the internet to work anyway. Here are just a few pics of the birth day...I will have to catch up on the rest later.

Trevor cried as soon as he came out, made tears roll down my face....music to my ears!

Proud daddy. Yes, Trevor looks EXACTLY like Trenton, its really wierd how much actually.

Mommy and lil T.

Big brother Trenton came soon after. He has been a great big bro so far and has transitioned perfectly. We'll see if I'm saying that once my mom is gone and its just us :)

Trevor hanging out. I will post some baby pics of Trenton next time so you can see HOW MUCH they look alike. Trevor may be a little smaller but eats twice as much twice as often!! Going to Dr. in a few hours for a checkup. I'm curious to see how much he has gained already. He only lost a few oz in the hospital. He latched on to me the second he laid eyes on me and hasn't stopped since!!

Regressing Already?

Getting stuff down from our attic tonight..baby bath, bouncy seat....etc.. Trenton is having so much fun getting in all of it! He also just crawled across the living room floor. I said, "What are you doing?" He answered, "Crawling like a baby!" Ut oh......
Is it possible that he is that big??

See you tomorrow baby bro!!

Lil T coming in 24 HOURS

Well, the countdown is on...I go to the hospital tomorrow morning at 6 am for a c-section. I have a pit in my stomach right now, I think its a combo of nerves, excitement, anticipation...exhaustion. I had the biggest emotional breakdown last night...Matt didn't know what to do with me. I have been going going going the last three days trying to get stuff done when I should have been relaxing. I started having some "discomfort" last night after another FULL day of shopping/moving stuff for Stanley Steemer/swimming with Trenton. Had to lay down and just STOP which stresses me out. My mind won't turn off the list of things I want to do before tomorrow, some of which a 38.5 week pregnant girl should not be attempting. Today, I promised myself NOT to leave the house (unless for a snow cone of course). I am going to walk slow, try to watch some tv, and not move furniture back from carpets being cleaned (Matt said if anything is moved when he gets home I am in trouble). I'm sorry honey I had to put the desk chair back in the playroom so I could get on the computer (it's on casters).
My nesting skills are out of control, it makes me want to redecorate and move stuff around for some reason.
On another note...
My BFF from college, Amber is going to have another girl!!!!! (#3) I am so excited that she has a healthy, beautiful (her other 2 are proof that this one will be beautiful), blue eyed (I am positive of this too!) baby coming! I think its hilarious that she sold a lot of the girls' stuff on consignment, because now you get NEW! I'm gonna buy something so frilly (not today)!! Congrats Bohannan family!

4 More Days to Go!!

I'm starting to get the house ready for lil Trevor coming on Thurs. Coming home on Sat. Trenton and I set up his bed in my bedroom yesterday. Trenton seemed a little confused about him sleeping in our room but I made sure he knew that only babies had to do that. He was soooo lucky that he gets to sleep in his big boy bed. I told him that when Trevor saw his big boy bed, he was going to want one too, but he had to sleep in baby beds. Trenton was pretty proud of his bed at that point. I'm sooooo sneaky :)

Another cute pillow for his room. Got the cover as a present and had it monogrammed at Bella's. Thanks Emily!!

Trevor's going home outfit. This was the same outfit Trenton came home in. I want to get it put in a shadowbox with both of their hospital bracelets one day.
Some of his gowns for the hospital. Funny story.....Matt saw the "K" in TKT and said "what's that?" I replied "Trevor KNOX Trumbo!" He ACTUALLY thought it was NOX and not KNOX. He wanted his initials to be TNT. Give me a break! He says that he's going to fill out his birth certificate while I'm drugged up. I have to say, if you know my husband, I am a little nervous...

Found these cute tiny shoes while out with the girls last Thurs. night. I wish you could see how tiny they are. If he COULD walk in them, I'm sure they would be very comfortable!

Baseball and Swimming

We are into the summer (I guess not oficially though)! We are running around outside all the time these days. We go swimming everyday at our neighborhood pool. This is the first summer I can sit in a chair and watch Trenton swim (with his duck floatie on of course). Oh wait....I'm going to have a baby in 5 days! Back to square one!!!

Trenton hops on his bike to go to the pool, I'm so glad we live like 50 yards away. He is sometimes ready to go after 30 min. and that's just fine with me so we head on back!Water fight with neighborhood boy!
Today, we headed to my nephew Cam's t ball game. Trenton loves going so he can yell for Cam and run around the bases afterwards. He holds up his hand and shows me five fingers and says "I can play when I'm 5! I have two more fingers to go!" Can't wait.....although it was a little toasty out there.....I'm seeing a glimpse of my future at ballfields.

Trumbo rounds second!!

He's going for 3rd!

Oh....where are you going?? Skipping home to go to first and start all over!
This is also the "summer of the snow cone". I am in love with tropical sno and so is Trenton. It's my bribe for him taking a nap. As he gets in bed, we talk about which flavor he is going to get this time....a nap is worth $2.50 to me...oh and I get one every now and then :). Tiger's Blood here I come!
Also, I had my last day of work on Wednesday. I knew for sure it was the last day my body could have handled it. I had to practically pry my swollen feet from my shoes, it was digusting...and it was the first time I had to use soap and water to get my ring off. For some reason, my feet really hurt in the morning when I wake up. I have to limp around the house. Any ideas why they hurt in the am? Don't tell me its the snow cones, I'm not giving that up.
Whoops, one last pic. Sucking down my sprite after the game, don't worry, captain saftey covered him in sunscreen, he's just HOT.

Preggo Belly!

After some requests, I finally made Matt take a picture of my preggo belly! I've been so bad about doing that with this pregnancy. I have 11 more days left until lil Trevor gets here, the countdown is on! We are absolutley thrilled that he is coming soon, but at the same time, we KNOW what is about to happen to our family of three! Life is about to change for us again and we think we are ready.

Someone asked me if I was having twins the other day so I offically have a complex. She actually never asked me when I was due so maybe it doesn't really count as a "blow". I actually said "no I'm not, but thanks!"

Everything is ready to go, everything that CAN be IS monogrammed. I will have so much stuff with T, TKT, Trevor, Lil T on it. I just love it! His room is ready, except for one screw hole above his name letters that Matt is going to putty and paint over TODAY, finally!! Oh, and having the carpets cleaned next week.

I feel like I see my Dr. way to much these days. I really like her, but it's a lot of waiting to have a short conversation. She doesn't "check" me because my body has no intentions of letting this baby come out on its own. I have a special talent of holding on to babies for 11 months (this has never actually been tested/proven but she's pretty sure it would happen).

I'm pretty pumped I got free formula in the mail today....2 cans! I told Matt how much that was worth and he said "What!?" I said don't you remember that?? He said he has blocked out all such things from his memory...including the word Nutramigen aka liquid gold.

Can't wait to see how different/similar he is to Big T. Trenton can't wait to play killing dragons and breath fire on him. How sweet :)

Ut oh!

First of all, you know you are getting old when you get a babysitter, have a date, come home, hubby gets in the bath (if you didn't already know....Matt takes a bath like every night), I drink Milk of Magnesia, and I still have time to check blogs and blog myself! Sad....

Trenton has had the same babysitter since he was 10 weeks old. I love hearing what he did while we were gone...everytime. Matt and I are definatley guilty of the bribe system when it comes to getting T to do stuff. It's offically caught up with us tonight. He offered the babysitter popcorn if she didn't make him go to bed. She said "no, you have to go to bed." He offered 2 pieces to her then! Talk about starting off small! She said "nope, sorry". He then did what she said. It was worth a try anyway!

He also told her that when Trevor comes out he's gonna be a big bummer cause all he's gonna do is poop in his pants, cry, and he won't even have any teeth! Low expectations means no letdown, right? HA

Baby Showers

This weekend I had two baby showers. The girls from my work had a brunch for me on Friday am. Jennifer makes the most awesome waffles and had everything sooooo cute. I will be posting pics from that shower sometime soon, I forgot my camera and had to use the Jones' daughters. :) I got tons of dipes and wipes!

My sweet friends had a lunch shower for me at Noodles on Sat. My mom brought Trevor's bedding and everything else she has been sewing. Got lots of cute things! Here are some pics...
I need a picture of that cake someone...it was sooooo cute..and good!

The blanket on the bed, the burp cloths, and taggie are the softest minkie fabric ever!!
The bedding....so stinking cute I must say...my mom is awesome!

My sleep sounds giraffe...or as my sister calls it, my child's sleep crutch.

New changing pad cover (minky).
