We're Still Alive

Ok...so I've been pretty lazy lately with the posting. I'm not posting any pics tonight because I don't feel like hauling my lazy butt ALL THE WAY to the kitchen to get my camera.
Trenton is more fun every stinking day. He can repeat just about anything now it seems like. These are some new ones just tonight: "eeeehhhhhuuuu....RASH" (he has a rash from him immunizations), "candy cane", "christmas tree" (which he actually doesn't touch cause I told him it was "HOT" hehe), "legos" (more like "wego"). I heard him in his room laughing and talking so I peeked in on him and he was laughing and telling Gretchen "No,no,no,no...." cause she was humping his stuffed animals (again). He then proceeded to do the same to minnie mouse the way Gretchen was. This is actually not a new thing. He would probably stop doing it if I would stop laughing so hard. She's a bad influence.
He LOVES his big dumptruck from Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jon. He puts everything in there and says "Vroom Vroom!" It's huge....he likes to get in it and be pushed around-good workout for my hamstrings. I consider it my cardio 3 x week.
Daddy is still the center of his world, I never see him happier than when he hears the garage door opening. He freezes, then smiles, and yells "DADEEEEEE!!" So precious..

Trenton had a super hyper night a couple nights ago. We had a U2 documentary on from like the 70's and everynow and then they would sing. Anyways, during all of this Trenton ran (sprinted) laps around our hallway/livingroom (this went on for a while). He would stop and sing and then crack up at himself. After he calmed down, he stood in front of the tv and watched them sing "Still haven't found what I'm looking for" with a gospel choir. I think I'm going to sign him up! hah Video is kinda dark. sorry

Trenton goes to the Doctor

Well, today was Trenton's 18 month check up. Seems like not too long ago we were in there for his 1 week (or was it 2 weeks?) check. I can't believe I'm forgetting these things already?! Dr. Livingston is Trenton's doctor and he said the little man looks great. He weighed 25 1/2 lbs (50th perct.) and was 34 inches long (98th perct.-shocking I know Sucking on his sucker on the way home. Thank goodness for candy.

Mascot-phobia IS hereditary!!

Ok...it's taken me like 28 years to get over the fear of things in costumes (although my heart did race a little when pork chop put his arm around me at the Ole Miss game). Looks like little T might have the same fear! HA Anyways...we had so much fun at Monday's bball game. Trenton went last year but doesn't remember cause he was too little. He had his lower lip sucked under just staring at all the action for close to 10-15 min.....he wouldn't even respond to his name. After he got used to the action, he started saying "ball!" and pointing at the game. It took everything to distract him from trying to play ball with the big boys! I saw Coach Pelphrey the next day and he said Trenton could play anytime he wanted to!! He thinks he'll be ready in 17 years the way he is growing!

Trenton the Turtle

Halloween was so much fun this year. Trenton was a turtle and absolutely hysterical. His two favorite words that night were "Mo" (More) and "De" or "Handy" (Candy). He only attempted to take off the costume one time (suprised me). Here are some pics of the fun!

Daddy putting my costume on.

Here we go!!

My favorite neighbors Bob and Gussie. They're SURE to give me some candy!!Eating already!

Not such a great family pic....open your eye's mom and dad!
