Two small arms to hold you tight, two small feet to run, two small eyes full of love for you, three small sons.

Big Bro and Big Booboos

I am posting about more clothes for the boys. I love this stuff! My picture is turned wrong...whoops! Trevor got a present tonight from some friends of ours, Jason and Staci. It's the orange and brown "little brother." It's so perfect, that's the colors of his room. I also found a cute "little brother" one and Target tonight. I have had Trenton's BIG BROTHER one for a couple of weeks now. Can't wait to put them in their BROTHER shirts!

On to the booboo's. I didn't think anything could top last years booboos, but we're off to a pretty good start. Thank goodness for cool bandaids. We always start off with lots of bloody knees when he starts wearing his crocs, they catch on the pavement easily, that plus the fact that the kid runs everywhere he goes.

Busy day around here....I'll post about playgroup later, I have to steal pics from my friends blogs for that one (I was too lazy to take pictures). Made my last min. run to Target before the birthday bash this weekend, I'm sure I'll still send one of my sister's hubbies to the grocery story before the party though! I always do!

Trevor's Birthday

No, I didn't get my title wrong...I WILL be talking about Trenton's birthday in a few days though. Trevor's birthday was scheduled today!! We'll be welcoming sweet Trevor on June 17th. 7 more weeks to go! We got to see pictures of him today doing some crazy moves in there. He had that foot right by his head, looks so uncomfortable to us! The US tech also commented on his head position...resting on my bladder! At least I had her feeling sorry for me...I have to pee several times an hour. This did not happen with Trenton. On top of that, Dr. S told me that I need to drink more fluids, they were low. Are you kidding me....drink more? Does she want me to just wear a depends? My body pretty much just sleep walks to the bathroom as it is. I'm really not complaining :) HA
We can't wait to see and meet little Trevor (that sounds funny because he is right here in my belly). I am so curious to see how different or alike he is to Trenton. Right now all I can imagine is another little Trenton, which would be fine too!

Shopping for my BOYS!

Who says boys aren't fun to shop for?? I have always loved shopping for Trenton bug and now I am supposed to be content just using all his old stuff for Trevor? Not so much. I am lucky that they both have early spring bdays so the clothes are the right season. I have taken the plain things to Bellas to have them monogrammed so it's kind of new to me. Matt laughs that I can still manage to spend money on things we already have! It's a gift.

Here are a couple of "new" things for Trevor man.

I'm kind of excited about making the boys match. At least at bedtime...hehe

Trenton's new room is trains. Everything in his life is trains right now. Having a big "train party" this weekend. My baby is going to be THREE!

Found this cute frame for Trenton's train room at the NWA boutique show a couple of weekends ago. I just need a picture! It will have to wait til June.

Trevor's new diaper bag. Went with the backpack. I can't count how many times I leaned over with a shoulder bag on and whopped my poor baby while he was in his carseat. That really explains so much now! :)
Going to Dr. tomorrow for 32 week checkup and to schedule my csection! Details to come...

Baby Will's 1st visit to NWA

My sis Jenny and her new little baby Will came to visit last weekend. He was 7 weeks old last weekend and has 2 roadtrips under his belt already! Jenny was brave to drive 2.5 hours by herself. He slept the whole way here and the whole way back.....yipee! He is sooooo sweet and spent most of the weekend sleeping. His crazy wild cousins were a little to0 much stimuli so I think his body decided to SHUT DOWN. You just wait Jenny, he'll be CRAZY too before you know it!

Jenny and Will (I will refrain from calling him any of the nicknames I have for him..willy wonka, willard i.e.) I can NEVER call a baby by it's real name for some reason. :)

Business casual day-note Trenton sporting his tie shirt in the background. Thank you very much Rena/Nina (my mom).

Sacked out on Mama.

My other sister, Michelle, went to run an errand and when her little one, Tyler (22mo), woke up from his nap he was extra cuddly on me. If Michelle were there, it would never happen, so we decided to take pics! He laid on me for almost an hour! I think he like laying on my big prego belly/boobs! I'm a little squishy right now!

Love this pic!

Touch A Truck

Catching up....last week was Touch a Truck in Rogers. It was kind of chilly and drizzling but Trenton and his cousins had fun. They got to climb in all kinds of trucks and play around. Trenton's favorite was the cement truck..random. He didn't want to get in the firetruck for some reason. When we got home, my sister Jenny and her new baby Will came over from Conway for the weekend too! (that's the next post...)
The kiddos..I fully accept that I will never get Trenton to look at the camera like a normal person again. He is closing his eyes on purpose.

Better?

Riding the motorcycle. This is the last time I will ever let him on a motorcycle (I let him this time only because it was in PARK).

I caught a cheesy smile! Reagan and Trenton were in an 18 wheeler.

I seriously don't know where he learned this. He went from cute 2 to a 12 yo overnight!

Water Fun

We had such a beautiful weekend here. We got outside a lot in the warm sunshine and played and worked some too. Trenton and I washed windows on Sunday and he was like a lab puppy with the water! I could spray him in the head and he would just laugh. He soaked his clothes and slowly took off everything (but his underwear) by the time we got to the back of the house. We planted my potted flowers out front. Trenton loves doing anything that involves dirt, he's a boy of course!

This is where I found him washing up after planting.
We busted out the sprinkler for the first time this year. Trenton ran nonstop for what seemed like hours.

Look at those long skinny legs.

"What mom?" This is what he says a lot these days.

Silly wet boy.

Easter

Well, sounds like everyone had a good Easter. It was really nice weather for once on Easter so that was just a bonus. We went to church on Sat night (this took me a while to agree to...didn't seem like it would be the same, but it was great and it gave us the whole day Sun. to hang together as a family). I went overboard once again with the gifts/candy/eggs. I try not to put emphasis on that part, but its hard for me to resist.
Matt, Trenton, and I at brunch at the country club....very windy up there!
Trenton at the country club easter egg hunt. There were tons of kids up there. They had goats, chicks, bunnies, all kinds of fun stuff for the kids.

Trenton on Sat. evening before church. When did he turn into an obnoxious boy? Where is my toddler who is always cute?! He did this face/pose about 15 times in a row. I kept my cool...:)

Much better. He was actually walking towards me to look at the crazy face he made on my camera.

Trenton's Easter basket.

This is where I found Trenton on Sat. afternoon after I cleaned up the egg dying mess. Crazy Erin is always saying "that boy needs a spray tan" so he decided to do something about it!

Just woke up from nap...I had all the egg stuff ready to go! This was Trenton's first year to dye eggs. He had fun "checking" the eggs like every 5 seconds.

Found out he LOVES hard boiled eggs.

The finished produts. On Easter, Trenton said "I'm gonna eat Jesus' egg (the one with the cross on it) cause he's already dead...he died in that water" What a great intro into an Easter explanation for me. He WAS dead....but today He is alive! Trenton's response: "Where!? I don't see him...is he still up in those clouds?"..."Can I still have his egg?" How cute....

Signs of NEW LIFE in our backyard on Easter.

1st Big Hunt

This morning was our neighborhood egg hunt. This was Trenton's first "real" hunt. I guess we did some at my sister's house last year but he didn't really know what was going on. Our neighborhood is serious about this event, huge turnout!

Posing before the hunt, sun was a little bright.

Our neighborhood clubhouse is right behind our house so we strolled on over for donuts and juice.

Fueling up before the hunt, gotta be loaded full of sugar. That is a serious gameface...

Sweet gameface...we had to wait for about 15 min. for the other kids to get there. He kept asking when we could go!

This year they separated the preschoolers from the "schoolers"....some major head butting accidents last year.

And he's off! I caught it all on my video camera, so stinking cute. His face was so serious as he ran around.

This was the funny part...after he had enough, he just kept running back to our house. He said "I'm going home!" Either he couldn't wait to see what was in those eggs or he didn't want to socialize anymore.

The goods.

He struck gold on the first egg!

After the egg hunt, we went and picked up Daddy at work and went to the Augustine/Trent Trumbo Easter Feed. This was an event that was named after Trenton's grandpa, Trent. It's a free Easter dinner open to the public. Trenton got introduced after the blessing. Everyone there can't wait to see the little Trent fill grandpa Trent's shoes. Trenton just got to socialize a little -which is what Grandpa Trent would have been doing!
We are excited about the real meaning of Easter tomorrow. The egg hunts, bunnies, and candy are all fun but the real excitement comes tomorrow when we celebrate the empty tomb of Jesus and all He did and does for us so we can have LIFE!

Spring has Sprung!

Finally....things are looking more like spring (feeling like it anyway). Still waiting for things to green up around here. Trenton keeps saying "I don't see spring." But when he see's anything that is green (weeds mainly), he says "Look! There's spring!" So cute. We have been trying to get outside as much as possible, even eating outside. I actually found great joy in weeding some of my beds yesterday. Trenton enjoys finding ladybugs, ants, and whatever creepy crawlys he can find. He stays away from the spiders though (thank goodness). He goes from one sport to the other in a matter of seconds, our backyard is a collection of at least 3 soccer balls, many balls/bats, well....you get the point. Here are some pics from his first golf outing of 2010. His golf manners are still very good. He knows when he can't talk and stays in the cart until it's his turn. This might be the first year he actually listens to me when I tell him that those sand traps aren't his personal sandboxes.

Water-check, popcorn-check, where is my caddy?

His favorite thing to do is hit balls in the water. I know we shouldn't probably teach that but he thinks its hilarious. This sport could get expensive for daddy this summer :)

Go ahead and take a 20 Trenton, seriously, pick it up already.

Left arm is almost straight....he's not the "big easy" he's the "little easy". (For those of you who know who Ernie Els is)

Can't wait for many more golf outings (with dad). Mommy is so excited about that :)
