This morning was our neighborhood egg hunt. This was Trenton's first "real" hunt. I guess we did some at my sister's house last year but he didn't really know what was going on. Our neighborhood is serious about this event, huge turnout!
Posing before the hunt, sun was a little bright.
Our neighborhood clubhouse is right behind our house so we strolled on over for donuts and juice.
Fueling up before the hunt, gotta be loaded full of sugar. That is a serious gameface...
Sweet gameface...we had to wait for about 15 min. for the other kids to get there. He kept asking when we could go!
This year they separated the preschoolers from the "schoolers"....some major head butting accidents last year.
And he's off! I caught it all on my video camera, so stinking cute. His face was so serious as he ran around.
This was the funny part...after he had enough, he just kept running back to our house. He said "I'm going home!" Either he couldn't wait to see what was in those eggs or he didn't want to socialize anymore.
The goods.
He struck gold on the first egg!
After the egg hunt, we went and picked up Daddy at work and went to the Augustine/Trent Trumbo Easter Feed. This was an event that was named after Trenton's grandpa, Trent. It's a free Easter dinner open to the public. Trenton got introduced after the blessing. Everyone there can't wait to see the little Trent fill grandpa Trent's shoes. Trenton just got to socialize a little -which is what Grandpa Trent would have been doing! We are excited about the real meaning of Easter tomorrow. The egg hunts, bunnies, and candy are all fun but the real excitement comes tomorrow when we celebrate the empty tomb of Jesus and all He did and does for us so we can have LIFE!

What fun! Looks like Trenton loved those Reese's cups as much as Jack did. And I am sure Trent is smiling right now because he is so proud of sweet Trenton.
Looks like y'all had a great Easter!! Hope all is well with your family. Let's get together sometime before you have the baby. How are you feeling lately?
See ya soon
