My big babies

Well, life is about as crazy as I thought it would be with 3 kiddos.  The hardest part is I don't really get out with all 3 that much, and I when I do...I usually regret it.  Trevor (middle man) is too little to handle along with a newborn in a carseat.  Trenton helps as much as a 4 yo can by trying to hold his hand in parking lots but you can only put so much trust in your 4 yo to keep your 20 mo. old safe (if ya know whatta mean).  So far, we have braved Target (good trip), Chuck E Cheese (good trip until time to go), and Once Upon A Child (nightmare).  I know I just gotta give it time!!!

Here are some pics of T and T...thank goodness they play well together.  I don't know if I could handle fighting right now..

Trev "climbing" up the stairs into the house.  The big boys have free reign outside while I'm doing something with the baby.
Ham Bone
Best big bro ever....who is clearly picking out his own clothes to wear...Merry Christmas everyone.
Trevor has a need to BE ON someone most of the time.  Since it can't be mine all the time now...it's big brother.  This is how he likes to watch cartoons.  So cute!
Trenton's face cracks me up!

Our 1st Two Weeks

Well, today is the day....I have all 3 kids by myself.  That will probably deserve another post sometime... here are some more pics of my babies (sorry Trenton, you don't sit still long enough for me).  I'll include him later :)

Laid out!!

After a head wash

While my mom was here, she knitted everyone a hat.  Here is Hayes sportin a "Rena" special. :)

Look at that face....trouble.  Trev has had a bit of freedom lately (lack of discipline really).  How can you get mad at a 19 mo. old when I'm the one who entrusted him with a box of crackers.
Trevor loves all of Hayes' baby things.  He is in the nap nanny most of the time.  This fuzzy bear is antoher fav!

Say a prayer for me today!!

More Hayes love

Well, we got the first week under our belts.  After 1 week, I'm pretty much "recovered" from surgery and feeling like myself again.  I can see ankle bones and veins in my feet and hands again.  Huge deal, I know.  I won't tell you how much water weight I've lost....it's pretty alarming.

The "big boys" are doing great.  They have reached a new level of "play".  WRESTLING!!! Pretty funny for the most part but with lots of laughing comes more boo boos.  Trenton forgets that Trevor is just 19 months and is not as sturdy as him.  The all time favortie...sitting on each other's heads and bouncing.
Here are a few more pics of Hayes with family...

My sister Michelle.  Who was a huge help all weekend.  She grocery shopped, helped with T and T, and stayed the 2nd night in the hospital with me.  And of course, loved on some Hayes.
Another sister/lifesaver...Rachel.  She spent most of her time in the hospital with me and Hayes.  Stayed the first night with me (my hubs is not a deadbeat....I MADE him stay home and help with the other kids for bedtime/morning....Trev loves him some daddy).  Set her alarm on her phone every 4 hours to make sure I got percocet.  Now that's love my friends.

Another great sister and newphew.  Aunt Tam and cous Cam.  Cam is totally pumped about another boy in the fam I'm sure!
And last but not least....Jennifer and her family.  They made the trip from Conway for the weeknd.  I hope things don't get too confusing for them....Jon has a sister with a boy named Hayes.  2 nephews with the same name!  Will is a few months older than Trev and is just precious.  He will be 2 in a few weeks!!   Wow time flies!

So this week I'm by myself...But T & T are at preschool MTW.  We have snow today and I'm getting SO much done with just ONE kid!!  Wow....what a difference.  Plus, he sleeps away 95% of the day.  I'm going to hold him and do nothing as much as possible.  I'm learning that these days are defintaly coming to an end WAY too soon!

Hayes is here!

Well, this post is a little late...Hayes has been here almost a week now.  He was born 1 day earlier than "planned" (scheduled c section).  My body actually tried to have a baby on its own!!  Miracle, I know.  We went to bed last Wed. night and I was pretty sure I was having contractions.  I never had ANY with the other 2 boys so I wasn't really sure.  Trevor was sick with fever and snot so I got 1 hour of sleep from 9:30-10:30 before he woke up and needed me.  We were up til about 1:00am.  The whole time I was having contractions about every 10 min.  All I could think was I'm going to have a baby and I'm still up and rocking with another baby!!  Matt finally got him to sleep a little after 1:00.  I got up to go to bathroom (for the umpteenth time) and my water broke!!   I broke the news to Matt (who had not gotten any sleep either) and we showered and called Gigi.  She came over to stay with boys while we headed to the hospital.  They confirmed that my water did break and said "well lets have a baby!".  So my plan didn't go according to plan.  No last min. hair and nail appt for me!!  Slightly devevastating for a few min but I got over it! :)  Hayes has been super easy (aren't all newborns easy?  once you have toddlers you will realize this).  He sleeps/eats/poops...repeat.

He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz and was 21 inches long.  At his 5 day appt. he was 7lb 6 oz.  Should be back up to birth weight by 2 weeks.  Very healthy sweet  boy.
This picture cracks me up.  This is really how excited Trenton is.  He is such a great big brother already, now he gets to show off his skills again!
Disregard the cheeto face...This pic was taken several hours after we were home.  Trev didnt' make it to the hospital because he was sick and I didn't think he would do ok.  He is a MAMA's boy and if he saw me he would want to be ON me (which he couldn't).  So far-so good.  He doesn't mind at all when I'm holding and feeding Hayes.  He kind of more or less ignores him (which is ok with me).  He smiles when he sees him and that's all I can ask for.
I leave you with one of my favortie pictures ever!  This ACTUALLY happened FOR REAL on Sunday night when all the company left.  All 3 boys SACKED OUT!!!  That will never happen again..
