You know you want one!

Matt brought home this beaut as his demo tonight...the 2011 Honda Odyssey came in today! They are trying to market the "hesitant mini van owner". I have to say....I'm definatley hesitant, but I drove it and boy is it awesome! I actually may be convinced that this is the coolest car ever. Features I LOVE: A trashcan! A good sized trashcan that pulls out under the main console..hello?!! Why didn't someone think of that before. Now your WHOLE CAR doesn't have to be a trashcan! Also...a huge tv screen. 2 kids can watch different movies in a split screen, or one can play video games and the other watch a movie...the possibilities are endless really. Last...a built in icebox/cooler thingie...hello fresh baby bottles/breast milk! :)

If you are interested, I'm sure my hubby would give you the Trumbo Manager Dicount if you mention my name, HA! I'm laughing at myself drumming up bussiness for him! He'll be so proud.

Soccer

Trenton started soccer about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Here are some pics of him in action. Thinks he is so cool with his big water bottle.

Trenton's new ball.

Bend it like Trenton!

Sweaty boy....I feel sorry for them on Sat. mornings. It has been pretty steamy.

Learning to throw the ball in bounds.

Trenton is a bit of a drama king. He constantly falls down and dives for the ball on purpose.

see?

Can we go home mom?

This picture is at about 530pm. He is "not tired" at naptime anymore but passes out in the evening.

Back to Work

I am SOOOO behind on blogging. As well as many other things in my life, I guess the blog has taken a back seat. One of these reasons--I went back to work M-T-W 2 weeks ago. Trevor is doing fine and I have an hour at lunch that I go and rock/feed/pet on him. One of these days I will actually take a "lunch" break. On our way out the first day back....Trevor's face says it all.

He's having a hard time staying asleep...although week 2 was much better. The first day, he fell asleep as soon as we got home and stayed asleep until 5:30am the next am--without a feeding for 13 hours. I would say that is exhausted. Trevor wore the same outfit Trenton wore to his first day of daycare...except this time it has Trevor's name on it...of course!

Evening #2 of daycare...same scenario=pooped!

Stretch!

Trenton requested a picture and this is how he posed. I'm not sure what to think about it really. He is such a goof. I will try to post pictures of his soccer career thus far pretty soon. It's pretty hilarious really....let's just say I'm pretty sure I have the class clown. ut oh is right.

County Fair 2010

We headed down to the county fair last wed. night with the boys. It wasn't crowded on a weeknight so it was great. Trenton was really excited about riding all the rides. Matt, not so much. Matt commented that the fair was the grossest/dirtiest he's ever seen it. I told him I think it's we just NOTICE now that we are parents. Oh well, that's what hand sanitizer is for I guess. Trevor really liked checking out all the action.

Trenton on his first ride. Flintstone rollercoaster. He was the only kid so the guy let him ride for however long he wanted.

Matt and Trenton on a REAL little rollercoaster. Once again the only ones. I was laughing so hard because after they made it around 3 or 4 times I could tell Matt had had enough. He kept knodding to the "carnie" like "ok, that's enough". But.....they went around like 10 more times. I could tell Matt was getting pissed. :)

If this picture does not describe the personalities of these 2 people, then I don't know what does! This is them on the big ferris wheel about to go up. Matt hates carnival rides and heights. Look at his face!

Two of my favorite things.....1. sleeping babies 2. lemonade from the fair (or as Trenton calls it "watermelon juice" ?????)

Trevor 10 weeks and getting ready to work

I can't believe that almost 11 weeks have gone by. It's even fast the 2nd time, if that is even possible. I go back to work in less than a week. Trevor and I visited his room yesterday. He seemed super excited about the other babies, I'm sure he'll make some good friends. ;) Today is acutually my last day by myself with Trevor. Sadness... I thought it would be a good time to start him in his crib, for real this time! He is napping in there right now, so far so good. I usually let him nap in the swing and daycare won't let him do that so he needs to get used to napping in his bed. I didn't think he would have too much trouble, he sleeps all night with no swing...speaking of, this kid has been sleeping through the night for about 3 weeks now, I'm calling it official. He is definatley my favorite baby (ha! just kidding). What did you say mom? This is our last day together ALONE? What?!

Pure cuteness.

He loves to stretch as soon as I unswaddle him in the mornings. Some grunting usually goes along with this.

This is the grunting picture.

Ahhhhh, good morning. Kind of looks like he is doing the "sprinkler" dance move. That's my kid for sure!

Someone has also become a fan of the floor gym. He likes to smile at his toys and is TRYING to control his hands a little.

Trevor was getting a little figity while I was in the kitchen when it dawned on me "BABY EINSTIEN"!!!!! How could I have forgotten about those DVDs from God (a bit dramatic I know). He seems to like it...YES!!

Focus

I couldn't leave you without an interruption from big brother....because that is just what he does these days. He has been acting out a little more starting last weekend, probably just feeling a little neglected. We have really tried to make sure he had plenty of attention and our efforts might be wearing off a little. It is hard to keep up with a crazy 3 y.o. and give Trevor everything he needs too. He is also giving up his nap (which I thought would never happen). When he doesn't take one, he goes to bed easy at 8:00. He was starting to go to bed at 9:00 (way too late by my standards) and it was taking him sometimes an hour to fall asleep. We'll see.....
