It's Halloween!!......almost

This morning I went to get Trenton out of bed and I told him "Guess what? It's Halloween!!" and he pointed to me and said "Almost!" I've been telling HIM that for a while now so now he's telling me. Trenton has gotten all kinds of treats via mail from his BeBe in Texarkana and Aunt Jo, Aunt Wendy, and Uncle Bill in Destin. I have been brushing his teeth 4 times a day. It's a good thing fillings are free for us! HA

I carved a monster pumpkin for Trenton, he was way pumped...he LOVES monsters. He told his BeBe on the phone that he was going to be a monster for Halloween (which he is not by the way).

Eating some of the goods from the Florida folks. I liked the saftey light the best. Definatley going to use that tonight.

I see you!! The mask is too small he said.

Cleaning out the pumpkin. He wasn't as big of a fan of the pumpkin guts as I thought. He said "EWWWWW, germs!"

Costume, check. Saftey light, check. Awesome candy carrier (thanks to aunt Jo), check check!!

School Chili Supper

Trenton's school had a chili supper at Gulley Park last Sunday. The boys (I really mean ALL BOYS, must have been a boy boom in 2007) ran around and played football the whole time. They would run by to snatch a quick bite of chili and of course stopped to eat the cute cute cute Halloween desserts.

This is Trenton before school on Tues (Hat Day). I missed photos of Mismatch Day and PJ Day, whoops! His teacher said he wore it ALL day. They told him he had to take it off for nap time. He woke up about 5 times and would feel it laying next to him and would go back to sleep.

Trenton wearing Cole's Razorback Helmet. It was a big hit!

Trenton and some buddies stopping for a quick photo. Dessert time!

Angie's sweet little girl, Brooklyn. She sacked out in the Baby Bjorn. Precious!!!

Our Little "Wild Thing"

Matt and I took Trenton to his first movie 2 weekends ago. We read "Where the Wild Things Are" almost every night so we thought he would like to see it on the big screen. I didn't have to worry about the monsters being too scary for him, he is afraid of NOTHING! He got a booster seat so he wouldn't collapse into it. He used the cupholders as "popcorn holders".
Yeah!!!! He kept saying "I see Wild Things!!"

Daddy and Trenton by the movie poster

BEFORE the booster. He is smiling because of the popcorn, obviously....it's as big as him. He sat for about 10 min. prior to the previews, through about 20min. of previews, and 40 min. of the movie. Once the excitement of SEEING the Wild Things was over, he lost interest. I can't blame him. Not really a "kid" movie.

WITH the booster. Suprisingly he didn't get a tummy ache from all the popcorn. He also discovered he liked Sprite. Can't wait to go back this winter for more movies!

Pumpkin Pickin!

Ok, so we didn't acutually "pick" them, but we "picked them out!" St. Joe is about 2 min. from us and this is where we went last year, so it's offically a tradition. HA Trenton picked out one BIG pumpkin (to carve) and 2 "baby punkins" Mommy picked out to green and white ones.....for decoration of course.

Yummy icecream. I told him to come outside to I could take pics and he literally said "cheese" the whole time he ate this popsicle.....but never really smiled or made much contact with camera.

One shoe on and one off, this is how he looks on a typical day.

My pretty mums and MY lil punkin. I am not a big fall person only because I know what comes after it. But.....fall is more bearable with pretty things like mums and colored leaves.

Its A.....

BOY!! Yeah! I just realized I left ya hanging with the gender of Jenny's baby. I am (along with everyone else) super pumped to have another boy joining our family (army more like) of girls. Although there are now going to be 4 boy grandkids and only 1 girl. I feel sorry for Rea Rea, holidays are going to be a beat down fest in a couple of years. I love those ROWDY boys! And have I mentioned that boys are in LOVE with their their mamas. In a couple of years he'll probably want to marry me (I've heard this is coming from my friends with boys). God have mercy on the girl who wants to date/marry my little sugar booger one day. Refer to the movie "Monster In Law" for more details of how this will eventually play out one day. I'm kidding! (ok, 1/2 kidding)

I got to go by my mums today! They are absolutley beautiful! Westwood Gardens is my fav. I got to shop for a couple of hours today by myself (Matt is off today). When T gets up, we're going to go get pumpkins from St. Joe. Then, the front of my house will be complete! I will take pics and post later. We probably won't carve until right before Halloween. Trenton is going to love cleaning out pumpkins this year. I can't wait!

Waiting for Jenny's call!!

My sister, Jenny is about to find out in about 10 min. if she is having a boy or girl. I'm sooooo excited! I predict girl for the record. Since I have all this nervous energy, I decided to blog more Italy pics. Trenton is taking the longest nap ever, Little Gym wore him out!
This was the first night it Italy. Welcome dinner at the hotel. These are our new friends Sonya and Ceasar from Texas. She is a GM of a large Acura store down there.
Dining room before we invaded and messed it up.

This was the ceiling in one of the living rooms. This is where they set up laptop computers for us to use. I wish I had a room like this to go check my email and blog eveyday!

Arriving in Ravello

These pics are from the day we arrived in Italy. Keep in mind, when we left our airport it was early am, when we got to Italy it was the next day. I acutally don't remember a lot from this day. I took this great little pill that "knocked me OUT" ...which was great for the plane ride (besides the fact that they couldn't wake me for 2 meals), but not so great when you land. I look like I was having a great time, so I'm sure I was. HA
Two tired people under the influence.

Look! There we are in the background. What am I drinking? Oh maybe that's why I don't remember. I don't want to look at wine for at least another week. Although yummy at the time.

Our first gift was really cool. We got to pick out which sandal/belt/linen shirt we wanted and they hand made them for us in our sizes right there. I got rhinestone sandals and Matt got an Italian leather belt. I do remember this.

This was the walk way up to the pool.

This was part of the hospitality suite. Acura rented the whole place so it was just us. This room had all the food/drink you want from 7am-7pm. If you ordered a drink and were NOT in this room the price was outrageous! At the pool, Matt ordered a mixed drink and it was 30 euros, that's like $40!! We sure learned our lesson. They told us that the Kennedy's, Clinton's, Humphrey Bogart, Greta Garbo, and others I can't remember stayed here. It's tucked away so people couldn't find them there. We had to try our best not to be redneck and be too excited. HA

Amalfi Coast

We are finally home! Here are some pics of scenery from the 1st half of our trip on the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in Ravello at Hotel Caruso and visited Amalfi, Sorento, Positano, Island of Capri, and Pompei. Italy is a photographer's dream...unfortunatley I'm not a "photographer". So these pics are from the pro photographer that went with us to all these places. I let him do most of the work! He was awesome.
I can't tell which town this was, they all looked like this. Perched on moutains!! No parking lots or 2 lanes roads anywhere!! Their driving even made Matt a nervous wreck so you know it must have been pretty crazy.
One of the many pottery shops, I think this was in Positano.

Matt's and I's favorite part of a long day. This was the infiniti pool at our hotel. I wish the angle was a little more to the right so you could see all the moutains. About 75 deg. there but the pool was heated to about 85.

Ciao friends!

i had to test the post first because i have posted twice and it didnàt show up. iàm in the bussines center now and it works!!!
Excuse the typing errors. The keyboard is italian and i doàt want to hunt and peck for the right buttons. We are having the experience of a lifetime to say the least. iàve never been treated like royalty before. We are in lake como now, for the last 2 days, where George Clooney lives. He lives about 5 min from Villa DEste where we are. 5min by boat. We went by there on our way to dinner two nights ago and he was home. Met some people from Naples, FL last night who got a pic with him at Georgeàs favortie restaurant. im still on the prowl....Matt is still golfing and iàm finished with cooking class early. Although i would "settle" for the head chef, luciano. He might be 60 but he is still hot. italian men like tall women so i have that going for me. heheWe leave tomorrow am early but it will take a full 24 hours to get home, although it will only be 800 tomorrow night when we get home. i hope i can go to bed. we canàt wait to see little man. we have talked to him everyday. he says we went up up up up in an airplane and we ARE coming back. he sounds like heàs having a lot of fun with nina, papa, gigi, poppy, and aunt t. i want to grab him and hug him sooooo bad, i could cry thinking about it....i also want taco bueno almost as bad. donàt get me wrong, the food is spectacular, but iàm craving fat, salt, and processed foods. i now realize why the italians are so thin and beautiful. We have 2 professional photographers with us so they are capturing most of the good pics. i will get a cd of them all when we leave.Canàt wait to see you and tell great stories.Ciao! this is goodbye and hello, so easy! i canàt spell the other things ive learned.

Ciao
