Two small arms to hold you tight, two small feet to run, two small eyes full of love for you, three small sons.

Tummy Time

This first picture is not "tummy time" but thought it shouldn't be left out. We finally made it back to church! Trevor's 1st Sunday. We didn't put him in the nursery this time but probably will from now on. The service was so great because it was only praise and worship (my favorite) and Trevor loved sleeping to the music (or the sound of my beautiful voice-hehe). We did have to cut things a few min. short though so next time it's "too the nursery!" He looks like he is going to punch something but I promise he was really excited to go.

Now.....tummy time! Trevor likes being on his tummy for about 5 min...and no more! He has also found the tv, which motivates him to lift his head so he can see it. We were watching "Extreme Makover: Home Edition" He started crying because he had had enough and I was crying because that's what I always do at the end of that show. :)

He is starting to look LESS like Big Brother...even though there are still some similarities.

I'm exhausted! This is hard work!

Trevor 2 Months

Trevor turned 2months last Thursday. He is changing and growing like a little weed. He loves to smile at mommy and daddy at the sound of our voices. He absolutely LOVES his swing (only side to side swinging though). He is still sleeping in our room in the pack n play but will probably be moved to his bed soon because he is sleeping pretty soundly now. He goes to bed about 8:00 and will take one bottle at 3:00am "ish". Mommy couldn't ask for anything better...Trenton woke up every three hours until he was 8mo. old!

TIIIIMMMBBBEERRRR!

Watching mommy and Trenton eat dinner. He doesn't know what he is missing.

Looking WIDE EYED as usual. My sister Michelle says he always looks scared or shocked. :)

These are the clothes that I packed away this week. I can't believe that he has outgrown this stuff so fast...how quickly you forget.
His stats at 2mo Dr. visit:
Weight:10lbs 15.5 oz (40th perc) (we'll just call that 11lbs)--2lbs lighter than big bro Trenton at 2 mo.
Height:23 in.(50-60th perc)--2 in. shorter than big bro Trenton at 2mo.

SwimRanch

I know "Swim Ranch" is a popular post lately...hopefully this will be the last one you will have to read! :) This was Trenton's 3rd year for swim ranch and I'm glad to say he has graduated from "water baby" status to a "lane" next year. I don't have to get in the water next year! .....oh wait, Trevor starts next year! 3 more water baby years I guess. We met new friends, mommy Meredith and her daughter, Reece...hope to see you guys again soon.

Mommy's little stud muffin.

Daddy got in the water on the last day, yipee! Syd and little Stella came to see Trenton show off his skills....and she took great pics while I held Trevor.

1-2-3 jump! Trenton like to strike different poses in the air, what a goof!

Dog paddling all by himself across the whole pool! He was supposed to be humming while swimming to avoid getting water in his nose/mouth....but you know Trenton, laughing and smiling the whole time....only Trenton would smile and laugh as he looks like he is drowning.

Almost to the wall!

Made it...good boy!

Kisses from Daddy

Hey! I want to go swimming! One more year...
Another funny Trenton story....2 nights ago I went to check on him before I went to bed and he was awake. Daddy had given him gatorade in a sippy (bad daddy!) and Trenton told me that he poured it in his ears! I felt his ears and sure enough there was gatorade everywhere. I asked WHY he did that and he said he wanted to be big and strong so he just poured it in his ears....I think someone saw a gatorade commercial and wants to be like those athletes. HA

LUMP in my throat!

Just ventured to a new friends blog and read this....

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.

Why am I balling right now...crazy hormones!!

My Trenton

I know lately ALL I've been talking about is baby Trevor. Trenton is getting some attention now. He has been an awesome big brother. Never jealous and always sweet. Sometimes a little too loud but Trevor is getting used to all the noise. He can sleep through Trenton yelling "WAKE UP" about 2 inches from his face. He has been saying the most hilarious things lately making us laugh constantly. This evening he said he found a map (it was a receipt) and it said, and I quote..."Put baby Trevor in his baby car seat...AAAAAnd put Trenton in his big boy baby car seat...AAAAAAANd go to chuck e cheese right now." I replied, "That's what it said?" He said, "Yeah mom, it's right here." If you could only see the expressions on his face.

We have also started swim ranch this week. It's been crazy getting out of the house in time to drop Trevor off at Gigi's and be at swimming lessons on the other side of town by 8:50. Oh, and did I mention WITH MINIMAL SLEEP the night before. Trenton was confused when we got there the first day and we weren't swimming in RANCH DRESSING. How fun would that be though?

Cheese!

His shirt says Big T. Trevor has one that says lil t. They both have matching shorts. My super talented friend, Emily, made them. They wore them to Emily's little girl, Avery's 2nd bday party last weekend.

Trevor and new friend, Libby at their first party! Trevor is 1 week older.

Brothers watching a movie.

On Monday, when I went to pick Trenton up from preschool, his teacher came out from the breakroom to show me what he had drawn all by himself. The teachers didn't help and she said "Draw you daddy". All of the other kids his age just scribbled. Trenton has never shown any interest in drawing or coloring. He has colored maybe 3 times in his whole life at home and doesn't even pick up the crayons when given them at restaurants. This definatley deserves a frame!

Going and Growing

I need to catch up! Story of my life these days. Lil T is growing like a weed, outgrowing many outfits already. He took his first out of state trip last weekend to my dad's lake condo in Missouri. Way too hot for him outside so we took turns on baby duty. Trenton loves everything about my dad's place...swimming, boating, fishing-a kids dream. He never made it to the bed for a nap, always passed out before he could even get there! My favorite part is always Marshalls Mega Store...puts TJ to major SHAME! I went twice.
Here are some pics of Trevor from the past week.

Whoops, got that one twice.

Look at his hand...HA

These are from Emily's camera, I'm saving the "good one" for the announcement. You'll have to wait.

Trevor is 1 month old!

Trevor turned 1 month old last weekend. Time is flying by. I THINK he weighs about 9.5 lbs. I'm not sure how accurate that is. He is getting really long and has outgrown several outfits already. Trenton is still loving his lil bro...kissing him all the time. Sometimes when Trevor is crying Trenton will go up to him and say "It's ok, Trenton is here." I can't wait to see these two interact more and more.

Trevor in his Boppy Lounger. He LOVES it. He sleeps in it all the time.
He also loves his carseat (thank goodness). He stays asleep for hours even after we get home.
Laying in Trenton's bed pissed. Trenton trying to talk to him.

Here are some pants that he wore last weekend. These actually fit the week we came home from the hospital.

Tried to get a 1 Month pic in his crib...this is the best I could get (he kept tipping over!)

Laid OUT! One thing that is different with Trevor is that he doesn't like to be swaddled. We swaddled Trenton until he was 5 or 6 months old.

Why you should buckle your baby in the swing. He wasn't even rocking (because it's broke). They can fall out so easily....so I've heard (don't worry Trenton turned out ok).

Matt never goes off the clock. :)

Sneaky Enfamil

Sorry no pics again. I will tomorrow.

So, got the mail today and got another pkg from Enfamil. I thought, hmmm..they are sending me another one because they somehow KNOW that I'm still breastfeeding. I put the formula in the cabinet with the others and started thumbing through the pamplet with all the info ( on how great the stuff is you know). Well let me tell you, they are sneaky...they planned this whole package 4 weeks into Trevor's life for a reason! They are thinking..."she's probably really sleep deprived, let's play into that!" At the END of the pamplet, they just MENTION their new formula called Enfamil RestFull. It is designed to gently thicken in your baby's tummy and digest slowly for a more natural way to help keep your baby feeling satified. WHAT!? My baby more satisfied...what about me!? I called Matt and told him their scheme....and how nice that sounded. They are sooooo smart...I'm not caving yet...yet :)

Mom Talk

Ok, so I think I jumped into the colic category too fast the other day. Trevor seems to be doing much better now that I've pretty much cut dairy out of my diet. He is still the tootiest lil thing though. Sounds like a man in my pack n play all night...HA! He pretty much just sleeps and eats until about 4 or 5, then is awake until 7 or 8. He is a little fussy during his long wake time, but he's a baby....he's allowed that I guess :) Still looking just like his big brother.

Now some car talk....Matt has been bringing different SUV's home for me to try. My current SUV is just too small. We are feeling crammed. Thank goodness Matt can bring home stuff so I can drive them for a few days to see if I like it. Tonight.....he brought home a MINIVAN! I agreed to drive it to WalMart for my errands and I have to say....it's my favorite, but I just don't know if I can do it.....I am not ragging my friends and fam for having one...I'm actually jealous...and very shallow. I agreed to wait for the 2011 body style of the Oddessy to come out (a few months?) before I cut it out completely. Emily...if you get one, I'll get one-but you have to go first--we'll start a movement :) Other options- Sequoia, Tahoe, and Pilot. Anyone have one and want to weigh in?

4th of July

This post is late....I am aware of the date. Trevor celebrated his 1st Forth of July. Well, he slept through most of it I guess. I had matching outfits for the boys. I was excited about going to the rodeo this year. But....when we got there, it was OVER! First time like in 60 some years that the rodeo did not end of the 4th. I was so bummed. So we headed to Outback for lunch and home for naps. We went to our neighborhood pool for a while then headed to our friends, Jason and Staci's for fireworks at their house.

Trevor sacked out at the pool. Check out those crazy overalls. Everytime he would cry, Matt said it was because of what he had on. :) That's my job!
It's not a dress...I am just too lazy to snap the bottom everytime after a diaper change.
Trenton swimming it up.

Munching on Doritos. This pic is for my sis, Rachel, who works for Frito Lay and does not allow anything but Frito Lay...I have to hide my Archer Farms chips when she comes.

Trenton and new friend Chloe at fireworks. Trenton covered his ears the WHOLE time.

Waiting for more. Poor thing, he wasn't a big fan this year.

Trevor never budged.

I eventually went inside with the kids. Trenton was tired of the noise and Chloe was dying to hold Trevor. She is about to be a big sister!

Our family of four...Wow, rough day for mommy.

Trevor is 3 weeks old

Time is flying by already. Trevor was 3 weeks old yesterday. He is sweet and cuddly during the day (because he sleeps most of it) and a stinker in the evening. I'm afraid this little guy has colic from around 6:30 to 9:00pm. He'll stop crying if we push him in the stroller or give him a bath...that's about it. :( I looked up colic on the internet and it starts at 3 weeks, peaks at 6 weeks, and is usually gone by 12-14 weeks. There were about 10 signs of true colic when they are upset and he has all of them. It's an immature digestive tract that causes the crying. He falls asleep, then seconds later, draws his knees up quickly and cries. He roots a lot, but is not hungry. Feeding them a lot during his "time" actually makes it worse. Poor booger...we can make it. I know how fast weeks go by and it will be over before we know it..anyone want to babysit tonight?! From about 6-9? hehe

Look at his cute old man pants! He loves napping in the boppy lounger.

Check out man hands.

In the swing...which does not work by the way. Battery acid ate the spring in the battery pack. Gotta get that fixed...it might be soothing in the evening.

And last....sleeping in the moses basket. He's hanging on to the edge of the basket. Maybe he's got the spins :)
