Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We've had a great Easter weekend. The weather is RAINY RAINY RAINY lately but that seems to be the trend the last few years. Easter playgroup was at our house this past Friday. The kiddos ate lunch and afterwards they hunted eggs. No fights or throwdowns so it was a success! I forget who I stole this pic from but I can see Cilla in the corner scoping out the eggs. LOL!

Stella, Cilla, and Trenton swinging away!

Trenton wanted me to take a pic of his "hunt" this am. Mr. Easter Bunny couldn't hide eggs outside because of all the rain but he hid them in our dining room.. Clever bunny. ;0

Trev with his new toy....trying to kick me I guess.

We went to church last night. It was really great. We watched a video of Christ's horrible death and the miracle of Easter.....on the thrid day he was ALIVE!! Do you ever wonder what you would have done if you were one of those women who saw the empty tomb? I would be yellin "SHUT UP!" That seems to be my response to any exciting news. I kept yelling that when Matt asked me to marry him. Romantic, huh? HA Anyways this pic cracked me up. Trevor had this huge balloon from the country club lunch today. Let's just say he was pretty entertained on the way home.

They even had pony rides in the golf cart storage!!! Happy Easter everyone!!

Oh, and bunnies!

Catching up on FUN times

I have a min to catch up on some pics before playgroup gets here this am. I am excited...we're going to have an egg hunt. Trenton is digging up worms and throwing them down the slide. :) All boy. Here are a few things we've been up to lately.. We went swimming at my sister's hotel in west Fay a couple of weekend ago. Kids were super pumped.

Trevor loved the water. He just floated for a long time happy as a lark. I can't wait til Florida. Maybe I could tie a rope to his floatie and wrap it around my ankle so I can relax in my chair with a magazine. Just a thought.

Yikers! Had to put this cute pic of Trevor in there. Unfortunatley you get me looking huh-ren-dous as well.

More pics from Hot Springs a couple of weekends ago. I love the cheesy smiles here.

Daddy and Trenton chillin.

Trevor turned 10 months a few days ago. He has totally rejected all baby food for about 2 weeks now. He eats whatever we eat. There has not been ONE thing he wouldn't eat. Trenton turned his nose up to almost everything at this age because of the texture. Trev just gums it and shovels it in.

Yeah beans and blueberries!!! Makes for an interesting diaper.

Trevor loves wagon rides with brudda (brother). We go to the playground behind our house for a little changeup for Trenton.

I offically have him "hat trained". He keeps it on for a while now. Used to knock it right off.

Watching Trenton play.

Funny story: I told Trenton to wash up for dinner and he came to the table with a little mohawk. He said " I just used a little hair gel to make my mohawk......and a little hand sanitizer so now it's nice and clean!"

Trevor's tube drama is finally over (knock knock). Went to pediatrician to check his ears 5 days after surg. because he was waking up a lot and turning down to the right still (and fussing!!). He said it looked kinda funky so he wanted us back to the ENT. Went there 2 days later and it WAS blocked because it bled so much the day of surg. Let's just say it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do as a parent thus far! They stapped him to a restraint board and went to town cleaning out his ear. It seemed like a lifetime but I know it was only about 5 min. I was thankful that we went and got it resolved though. We just finished our (hopefully) last round of antibiotics and second round of ear drops. Lets hope all in still well in a few days!!

Hot Springs pics

Here are some pics from Hot Springs last weekend. My mom and stepdad took the kids to Garvin Gardens so Matt and I could go to the horse races. Cutie Trev. Loves his stroller and just being outside.

Big boy Trenton.

His stroller became a place to put all his rocks he collected. :)

Side note: Trevor got tubes early Thurs. am. Everything went well. Had quite a bit of bleeding that evening from his right ear. I am suspicious that since there was so much blood it may have clogged the tube in that ear. He is not sleeping well at night but seems to have his appetite back. I am contemplating bringing him to the evening clinic tomorrow after work if he is still doesnt sleep well tonight and is fussy at daycare. Any thoughts anyone???

I Can See The Light

Wow...I'm getting way behind on blogging. I have a hard time making time for it these days. I don't want to say that I don't have time to...it's just not on the top of the list these days. I will come out of my funk soon. Lil Trev has been plaugued by the ear infection bug for several months now. It really stinks for him and for me but I know it's not that uncommon and there is a "fix". I can't imagine dealing with something that I knew there was no "fix" for. So-for that I AM thankful. Thanks to the good Lord opening some major doors for us, Trevor will be getting his much needed tubes on Thurs. am. When I say the Lord opened doors, I mean it. As of last Wednesday our CONSULT for tubes was April 15th. It's comforting to know that HE never leaves our sides. Say a prayer for lil Trevie if you think of it. Other than that, we have been a busy family. We took a trip to Hot Springs last weekend. We met my mom and step dad and Matt's mom. They watched the kids on Sat. afternoon so we could go to the horse races. The weather was awesome so we did a lot outside. I'll post pics tomorrow (there! that will keep me accountable for posting).

Friday playin

Wow-I blogged 2 days in a row. Don't get used to that. I'm in the playroom with the kids and I'm a little tired of playing monster trucks. Today the kids and I went to playgroup. Love talking with other girls about things only they could understand and appreciate. You know like C-sections and wetting the bed...the kids of course. Thought I would throw an old pic of Trenton bug in here. He is 12 months. I forgot how light his hair was. I can see Trevor in this pic.

I stole this pic from Jenna...thanks Jenna. Trevor and Brody had a staring contest today. It's gotta be fun being a baby...I wonder what goes through those little heads. And whoa...Trev looks huge here.
My hubby is coming home tonight!! He's been gone for a week. I got a babysitter so I could go and get him tonight. I don't care how tired he is-he's taking me out on a DATE!!

Trevor 9 Months

Trevor is 9 months today! He is growing like a weed (a long skinny weed). Went to his checkup last week and found out he is actually taller than Trenton by like 1/2 inch. He's catchin up to brother! Not in weight though--still a skinny booger. He is almost 18 lbs. and is a smidge over 29 inches long. 10th percentile and 85th percentile. Dr. L was not suprised at his stats. Loves to play in brother's room. Sitting like a champ and scooting backwards and it circles, no forward motion (which is fine with me!)

He can get into this position by himself and rocks. I was soooooo excited when Trenton did this and I would help him all the time. When Trevor did this for the first time I said "Ut Oh" and put him back down! That's a no no Trevor!! :)

Trevor's unruly hair at 8 months.

Mad at Trenton for trying to get in the picture.

In the ball pit at Cilla's bday party last weekend. I'm gonna have to bust out the ball pit my mom says. My living room is officially Chuck E Cheese.

Banging on pots and pans. Always fun til ya whack your other hand.

Sideways pic...don't hurt your neck. Trenton is such a good big brother. Going to be 4 soon. If you ask him though he says he's 61. Random. He is constantly saying something funny.

Snow-Sick-SpringReady!

All I can say about this week is "WOW". In my last post, I wrote that I had the longest week ever. This week topped it.....x10. First, as everyone knows, the snow fairies dumped the motherload on us. Trenton and I trudging around the front lawn. Note: I was not feeling the best...thought it was something I ate the night before. But I am a mom....and life must go on.

Trenton just wants to eat it, as you can see.

The next day...Trevor sick. (out of order pic) Trenton feeling awesome as depicted by the pic.

Trevor feeling not so awesome.

Trenton and I decorated Vday cookies.

Which no one ate I might add.

Who's feeling better? Where is he?

There you are!

Yeah!! Sickness gone!!

My new name after he got better for him is Not So Heavy Trevie. He is even skinnier after not eating for 2 days (just a little pedialyte).

Ut oh....look who's sick. Bless his heart. He is almost as pitiful as his daddy when he gets sick. :)

Trevor never misses a chance to smile at the camera...even while eating.

Trenton was actually requesting these pitiful photos....seriously. He wanted to look at them and feel sorry for himself. What am I going to do with him!?

Trevor manages to get anywhere he wants without even knowing how to crawl.

No better time to be sick when you are stuck at home anyway, right? Emily you better be right about the weather this week.

Lately..

The snow is finally melting!!! And we're supposed to get more!!!!! AHHHHH. Can I just say-LONGEST.WEEK.OF.MY.LIFE. I do love hanging with the kids, really. It's not THAT bad. It's just I LONG for adult interaction. I grew up in a big family and am used to people being around ALL the time. I'm pretty sure Matt was afraid to come home in the evenings because I wouldn't stop talking (not really that unusual I guess). Happy Trevor. He is getting the cutest personality. He faked cry the other day and closed his eyes and everything. I went to pick him up and he just laughed. Stinker.
Trenton trying NOT to smile. We were drawing snowmen with markers. The boys did not mind hanging out all day inside. Trenton is somewhat of a homebody...always has been.
Trenton: "My snowman is frustrated." Maybe he was feeling a little cabin fever like his mommy.
Me: "What are all those dots Trenton?" Trenton: "He has a bad case of the boogity boogs." HA!! WHAT?? Sounds like something off of Wow Wow Wuzby.
Go away snow!!

Snowed in and a question.

This is only a test... Trying to blog from iPad. Does anyone know why I can't upload pics when I'm on here. It won't let me push the browse button to even find my pics that I've download on here.
