It's A........

ANOTHER BOY!!!!!!!!  Trevor is saying "Praise Jesus!  A little brother!"
My reaction was a little odd.  I just kept laughing...I guess that's a good sign!
Trev's new love...climbing on the slide.
Silly Trenton....he is also excited about another brother.  Poor Trevor, he has no idea what is about the happen.  Everything looked great on the ultrasound.  Got to see our newest little man and he looks perfect of course.  Weighing in at a whopping 11 oz.   Gotta go shop!!!!

Random cuteness

So I started off with a cute picture because the next one would be too shocking to start with.  Got some pics of the boys before church last Sunday.  First time EVER we have had time for a picture before church.  I don't know how we can make it out the door by 7:20 most mornings during the week with low stress levels but Sundays are a whole different thing for some reason.  Anywho....found these little skinny jeans with suspenders for Trev at H & M in Wash DC.....sooo stinking cute.
Not so cute...but hilarious!  Story-I laid out the kids' clothes on my bed while I was getting ready and Matt told Trenton to go put his clothes on.  He came out with Trev's jeans on looking like this.  His exact words- "I don't know where to put these straps."  I would say this would be an inappropriate look for church.
 Pure stinking cuteness.
Trenton striking a model pose for his picture...such a mess.
Trevor's 1st oreo experience.  It went well.....duh, he's my kid.
 Smiling with cookie.

This is what I found this morning after I came out of the laundry room.  Last years halloween costume with matching umbrella (and soccer shin gaurds underneath, you know for extra protection).  He kept reassuring me and Trevor that it was just him everynow and then and would peek at us under the mask.  Trev thought it was hilarious.   I love these cute funny boys!

Sept has been fun so far!

Here are some pics of our month so far...  been fun and busy.  Here's Trev offering me his paci.  He loves handing me things, feeding me, and pointing to where he wants me to go (when I am carrying him..which is what he prefers)
Trenton ready for the Razorbacks!  Well, we don't bring the kids to the game but he still gets exctied about sporting his "gear".  We went with Michelle and Chris (sis) and then met the Bohannan's, Campbells, and the Roeder's (other sis) at half time at Theo's for din din.  Yummo.
Trevor finding out his love for poptarts or as Trenton calls them "fart tarts".  A 4yo will insert that word wherever possible.
He was so tickled that he got under the barstool.  It was an up/down fest for a while.
Nina (or Rena as called by other grandchildren) and Papa came for the weekend (my mom and stepdad).  This is the only pic of them I got all weekend...my mom's leg and Gary's leg/foot.  Looking good guys!  My mom made peach pies for my birthday....my fav!!!
Nephew Will came for a visit Labor day.  He is such a cutie!  He and Trev are going to be buds one day I'm sure.  He is 4 months older than Trev but so much bigger.  Trev is kinda shrimpish next to him.
Today (yes, I'm blogging about something that happend THIS day) we went to Lilly (3) and Reid's (2) beach birthday party.  This is what was in the front yard when we pulled up.  Mommy's thinking "ut OH"  Trenton thinking "Yeah!!!"
 Cutest cupcakes....so crafty.
Jello with whale suckers....Trenton grabbed one on the way out and it's in the fridge for after nap.  Trenton pretty much ate one of all the desserts.
Emmerson, Syd's lil one, and Trevor playing.  I think it's funny that Emme's bow is covering her WHOLE face..too bad, cause she's pretty cute.
Oh...there she is!  Had to put this in there because of Trev's tongue.  I love that everyone dressed up their kids for game day!  Happy Birthday Lilly and Reid!!  The party was awesome!  I feel really bad that I left your bath tub full of sand!  I owe you one!!

July and August Catch UP!

Warning: Picture overload!  Gotta catch up on these photos from the summer.  I've been so bad...and tired.  I haven't been blogging much because when I'm home with the kids and they nap-I nap!!   Trenton and Trevor did swim ranch this year.  Trev started water babies and Trenton was in the begginer lane.  Both did great!
Trevor learned how to crawl out on his own.
 This face cracks me up!
Big boy before his first lesson.

We headed to the Tontitown Grape Festival.  Trenton always has a blast at carnivals.  We spent WAY too much on games!!

Trevor is up to no good getting into EVERYTHING these days.  I forgot how big of a mess babies can make when left alone for 2 seconds.  He loves emptying out Trenton's drawers.
 What mom?
My cute hubby had a birthday (33) August 4th.  We had a group go to Wasabi for dinner.  Matt loves him some sushi!  I love me some Rick's cake. :)
We got a Burley buggy and Matt got a new bike about a week ago.  The kids like crusing around.  I'm going to get a bike after baby is born.  Can't wait to hit the trail.
Can't you tell Trevor loves it?  HA  We also have a wheel that attatches to the front once you take it off the bike and a big handle goes back to make it a jogging stroller.
This is my 16 week baby bump.  I had to snap a pic of myself in our hotel last week.  That's a another post.  Matt and I went to Wash D.C for a trip.  My sister, Michelle watched the kiddos.  So so so so so nice..  We ate and shopped our heads off !

I'm Still Here

I kind of dropped off the face during my domestic week.  I'm totally pumped at least one person (Lauren :)) tried a recipe!  If I can help just one person find an easy meal then it was worth it (insert pumping fist). HAHA  I crack myself up.  The lasagna rollups were fair.  Matt says "It needs more meat."  Next time, I will buy 2 jars of spaghetti sauce and 1 lb. hamburger to mix in with one jar and pour it on top.  We ate leftovers and went out of town on Fri afternoon.  I made homemade tuna helper 2 nights ago which was not really blog worthy....it's Trenton's fav and I was looking for a way to make it a wee bit healthier (less sodium).  It made a ton...for way cheap.  I can see myself making this for 3 boys one day when their appetites are ginormous.  (If baby #3 is a boy).

Speaking of baby #3.  I only have 5 weeks until I find out....if it's a boy.  I am in such boy mode I don't think I would even believe the ultrasound tech if she said it was a girl.  Seriously, I wouldn't even go shopping yet until another one was done later.  Baby #3 is popping out fast this time.  I've heard this about 3rd pregnancies...+ I got pregs a little less than a year after #2 was born.  Supposidly makes a big difference too.  I actually had a stranger tell me congratulations.   I am only 15 weeks.  That's pretty brave to be making comments like that already....it must be obvious.  Not looking forward to clothing a 6 foot pregnant body this winter.  It's tough enough without the belly.

I'm going to catch up on pics this afternoon or tomorrow....swim ranch for both boys, matt's bday party, tontitown grape festival (aka americas most wanted carnie list).

Wed Night-Lasagna Roll-Ups

Tues night was left over night for us so we're back on for tonight.  Again, super easy.

Lasagna Roll-Ups

1 jar (28 oz) spaghetti sauce
12-14 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions
1 cup (4 oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
FILLING:
1 container (2 pounds) part-skim ricotta cheese
1 cup (4 oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1 TBL chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp salt

1. Preheat oven to 375.  Coat a 9 x 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and pour half the spaghetti sauce over the bottom of the dish.
2.  In a large bowl, combine the filling ingredients; mix well.  Lay the lagagna nooldes flat and spread the filling evenly over each.  Roll up the noodles tightly, and arrange seam-side down in the baking dish.  Pour the remaining sauce over the roll ups, and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup mozarella.
3.  Bake for 35-40 min., or until golden and heated through.  Let stand for 12 to 15 min. before serving.

Throw some bread in the oven and a bag of ceasar salad and you are good to go!
Trenton and Trevor's swimming lessons pictures coming soon.  OMGosh I was so excited that Trenton was not a "water baby" this year and that I didn't have to get in......I'm offically taking that back.  I can hardly breathe outside (in the shade!).

Monday Night Dinner

I'm still going!!  I made dinner 2 nights in a row!  Tonight is Chicken Pot Pie.  It took me exactly 10 min start to finish to make this.  I bought a rotisserie chicken on my way home and pulled that apart (I only use the breasts and legs).  Here's the recipe....

Disclamer-I am fully aware that I'm using 2 cans of condensed soup and a CAN of vegetables which really isn't that great...but this is still a step up for me....baby steps people.

2 cans cream of potato soup
1-16 oz can vetg-all (drained)
2 cups cooked chicken (I used the breasts and legs of 1 chicken)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp thyme (I do not use this-thyme is too strong for me!)
1/2 tsp pepper
2-premade pie crusts (they come in a box of 2...I use great value)

Mix all ingredients together and spoon into pie crust (pressed into a pie pan of course).  Cover with the 2nd crust and press edges down with a fork.  Cut 4 slits in the top.  Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.

New leaf turning

As of today....I'm going to really try to plan out some meals and actually make them.  I am the worst at planning meals and we end up going out or eating something out of a box every night.  It's really pathetic.  So here it goes....to help me stay accountable, I'm going to try and blog about it everyday so that if it's good (and I don't make it if it's not easy) maybe ya'll can try it too.  Tonight was super yummy.  I've made this before.  The whole family loves it and it's super healthy....that never happens.  Playgroup friends, it only took me 3 and 1/2 months to share this recipe.  It was a hit (or everyone was lying to me) at Easter playgroup.
Summertime Chicken and Orzo Pasta
3/4 cup uncooked orzo pasta (could't find at N. Market--found it at Harps)
1 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut up
1 med. cucumber, chopped
1 small red/purple onion, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
2 TBL lemonjuice
1TBL olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
*I added 1 chopped avacado
Cook pasta according to box instructions. Cook chicken and cut up. In a large bowl, combine cucumber, onion, parsley, and chicken. Drain pasta; stir into chicken mixture. In small bowl, whisk lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour over chicken mixture; toss to coat. Serve warm or cold (I make it several hours before I need it and refridgerate-add the avacado and feta cheese right before you serve it).

Sometimes I  boil and cut up the chicken in advance so you can refridgerate it and it doesn't take too long to cool down in the fridge.

Last 2 Weekends

Two weekends ago, Matt and his best bud Rob were in a golf tournament together.  They had a really good time golfing all weekend. This is us at one of the dinners they had.  The food was so good and Boom Kinetic played.  This tired mama didn't make it very long.  Rob's wife, Amy is about 6 months pregnant so we sipped our sprites and yawned in unison.

Also, Trevor discovered how to climb this piece of furniture.  Thank goodness for Trenton.  He always lets me know what this little monkey is up to.  He was yelling over and over "Trevor, that is not safe!!!"  That gets a mom's attention.

The only was to stand more than 10 seconds outside is to be in water.  In the late evening or early morning that is.  We found a way to keep Trevor from climbing out of his splash pool.  Surround him with a sprinkler!
This a actually a happy "yea!" clap.
Love this look.
Yelling at Trenton.
Trenton could not go in the water because of a wound.  The tiniest cut on the bottom of his 2nd toe.  I could barely see it.  It is not like him to bring drama.....gets on my nerves.  So he was a happy boy just swinging.
Somebody else loves swinging too!!

This weekend, well, Thurs.  It's technically MY weekend.  My sister, Michelle and her fam came to Fay for some shopping and errnads.  This is Reagan showing me her straw with chopsticks on either end.  She will go to first grade in a few weeks!
Cousin Tyler, who as you can see......loves the camera.   Still gotcha Tyler!
Lil Trev still liking the camera for now.  We had our first of many bad restaurant experiences at Shogun with this little stinker.  We ran out of entertainment options.  He made the hugest mess ever!  Squeeled like a banche and I'm sure ran a few customers off (who do not have children).  Will it stop me from going to restaurants....no.  Will I pack more snacks and toys next time.....yes.

Pregnancy update-  Got to hear baby's heartbeat last week (160 bpm).  I am 12 and 1/2 (gotta add that 1/2 you know) weeks.  I am so sleepy still.  I have taken a nap everyday that I am home when the boys do.  I almost don't remember hitting the pillow everyday.  Hopefully I am on the tail end of that part.  Getting excited looking at bedding and clothes again!
