Halloween 2010

I got the halloween post up before Thanksgiving! Trenton was totally into the trick or treating this year. Didn't get a pic of his cousin Cam (who was an awesome dinosaur). They RAN from house to house....so fun! Posing as Spiderman.

Halloween night I just put Trenton in a giraffe print outfit, his real costume was too hot. Look at that smile!

Cutie Trenton and BUSY

We took some photos with Blaire Perry a few days ago and she tagged me this on facebook as a little preview...soooooo cute! I can't wait to see the rest! I have been a bad blogger lately. Almost 5 mo Trevor + 3.5 yo Trenton + part time job + baby ear infection (that took me a few weeks to figure out...mommy of the year) + NO sleep (due to my lack of parental instincts..ear infection) = My excuse for not wanting to play on the computer even though it's one of my favorite things to do.
I promise to upload Halloween pictures this week!!

Iowa Trip

We made a trip to see my family in Iowa about 2 weeks ago. The boys did awesome (maybe it was because we were in a stylish minivan). Not one peep from Trenton except for every hour-"I need another movie!!!" He doesn't watch movies in my car except for long trips like this so it was a treat for him. Trevor slept and played with his toys and didn't make one peep either. I am blessed with good car travelers, thank you Jesus! The boys with my favorite Grandma Lottie. She is in her mid 80's and has never colored her hair!! She was so excited to see both boys but especially excited to meet lil Trevor. I think he liked her! :)

Grandma got Trenton a huge T Rex puzzle. He loved it but we forgot it. I guess we'll have to go back to Grandma's soon!

We went to a huge pumpkin patch/corn maze in the MIDDLE OF AN IOWA CORNFIELD. I was scared to go in the maze. I grew up surrounded by corn fields and was FORBIDDEN to enter the fields. Can you imagine being lost in hundreds of acres? No, niether can I....that's why I was hesitant. This was Trenton feeding the goats.

I went to school in a very small town. So small in fact, that 25 years later....nothing has changed really. Not many places that you can say that for. I had to go my school. It looked so small.

We drove to KC, Missouri on Sat. evening and spent the night at The Plaza. Got up the next morning and hit the park.

Trevor is 4 Months

Oh time is going by so fast and I don't have time to blog about my wonderful boys! Trevor turned 4 months old a couple of days ago and I have to get this in before another month flies by! He is still an absolute JOY and is the happiest little sucker you've ever seen. He was colicky from about 3 weeks to 8 weeks in the evening for a few hours so this is our reward for enduring it. :) He has discovered his voice in the last few weeks and squeels and coos a lot. The sight of his brother puts a huge grin on his face but I have to say the boy is IN LOVE with his mama....just how I like it! These next few pics are from our Iowa trip last weekend to visit some of my family. We were at a huge pumpkin patch/corn maze in the middle of nowhere. I promise my corn maze was bigger than yours! HA

Ole'!

These next few are from today. He is sitting in his high chair (space saver) for the first time. He likes sitting up like a big boy..and watching his mama fold laundry.

Matt had to bring him to the Dr. for his checkup because I was at work. We had to reschedule it because we were out of town part of last week when it was originally scheduled. He is catching up to brother Trenton. Had a huge growth spurt 2 weeks ago! His stats:

Weight-14.75 lbs. (50th percentile)

Height-25.79 in. (75th percentile)

That means he has doubled his birthweight and grown 6 inches!! Whoa

Too Busy

Life has been busy around here lately. Two boys and a j.o.b. are about to do me in....just kidding, it's not that bad! I am going to go on a hunt for my camera today, I don't want to say I've lost it yet. I took this pic with my phone yesterday and it will have to hold you over until I find it! He's so happy the Hogs won......and Alabama lost!

Matt brought home this beaut as his demo tonight...the 2011 Honda Odyssey came in today! They are trying to market the "hesitant mini van owner". I have to say....I'm definatley hesitant, but I drove it and boy is it awesome! I actually may be convinced that this is the coolest car ever. Features I LOVE: A trashcan! A good sized trashcan that pulls out under the main console..hello?!! Why didn't someone think of that before. Now your WHOLE CAR doesn't have to be a trashcan! Also...a huge tv screen. 2 kids can watch different movies in a split screen, or one can play video games and the other watch a movie...the possibilities are endless really. Last...a built in icebox/cooler thingie...hello fresh baby bottles/breast milk! :)

If you are interested, I'm sure my hubby would give you the Trumbo Manager Dicount if you mention my name, HA! I'm laughing at myself drumming up bussiness for him! He'll be so proud.

Trenton started soccer about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Here are some pics of him in action. Thinks he is so cool with his big water bottle.

Back to Work

I am SOOOO behind on blogging. As well as many other things in my life, I guess the blog has taken a back seat. One of these reasons--I went back to work M-T-W 2 weeks ago. Trevor is doing fine and I have an hour at lunch that I go and rock/feed/pet on him. One of these days I will actually take a "lunch" break. On our way out the first day back....Trevor's face says it all.

He's having a hard time staying asleep...although week 2 was much better. The first day, he fell asleep as soon as we got home and stayed asleep until 5:30am the next am--without a feeding for 13 hours. I would say that is exhausted. Trevor wore the same outfit Trenton wore to his first day of daycare...except this time it has Trevor's name on it...of course!

Trenton requested a picture and this is how he posed. I'm not sure what to think about it really. He is such a goof. I will try to post pictures of his soccer career thus far pretty soon. It's pretty hilarious really....let's just say I'm pretty sure I have the class clown. ut oh is right.
