Two small arms to hold you tight, two small feet to run, two small eyes full of love for you, three small sons.

Jackson's Bday Weekend

I know I stink at posting lately, I have a million excuses really but what it boils down to is I'm lazy. I'm going to have a big weekend this weekend to post because tomrrow by baby turns 2!! So here I am catching up, be sure to keep scrolling after this post, there is one more.
Michelle and the kiddos came last minute last weekend (yeah!) We balanced three children and shopping very well. All three kids napped at the same time everyday so we could escape one at a time to fully maximize shopping time alone. The best part of the weekend was Jackson's bday party. He is 10 days older than Trenton. They are going to be best buds I know. Here are some pics...

Trenton and Jack on the tractors. They fought over the Deere!! It was a John Deere party so maybe that's why..

Trenton wearing on of Jack's presents. Trenton kindly took it from him (bad 2 year old!) and tried it out.

Rea Rea (as Trenton calls her) and T playing on Jack's new swingset.

Trenton trying to butt in on Jack's birthday moment. Jack got a smash cake again this year because it didn't go over too well last year. He loved it this year (so did my little piggie). Better watch out, Jack's coming to your party to crash it like you did his!

T and Kyle (Jack's dad) taking it all in. Happy Birthday Jackson!!

Farm Friends

Here are some pics of last week of us at 'Farm Friends' at the UofA farmgrounds. What boy/small child does not like the smell of pigs, dirt, and fresh manure. Trenton was a little startled by the rooster who cawed his rooster song about every minute. He petted some bunnies and a baby goat (is this the typical story of a child at a petting zoo or what) Fun times..

Trenton's not taking his eyes off that horse, he DID NOT want to pet his nose!

This horse is much nicer, just my size!!

Happy Easter!!

After hunting eggs for the first time, Trenton discovered afterwards that there was candy inside! Thank goodness we did this yesterday at Michelle's when it was nice outside. It's been raining all day today!

Trenton this morning before church on our bed. He is eating powdered donuts and candy. Let's just say the sheets are in the wash. The Easter bunny brought yummy candy and a Mr. Potato Head. Also presents from Aunt Jo, Aunt Wendy, Uncle Bill, and B.B. Thanks everyone!

All dressed up for church....the real Easter celebration! HE is RISEN!!!!

My handsome boys.

Yeah! Trenton actually smiled for a picture! He hates pictures and talking on the phone. Is he a boy or what?!

SHOUT it from the rooftops!!!!!

I CAN NOT believe my husband JUST told me this news like 15 minutes ago!!!! It's 9 PM!!
I filled in for a hygienist today so I worked today. Daycare could only have him part of the day because they were really full. Soo....Matt picked him up at 2:30ish and they told him that Trenton got 2 stickers today because he pee pee'd in the potty not once.....but twice!!! I came home at 5:00 and tagteamed Matt so he could go to work til 8:00-FAILING to tell me this big news!! I noticed Trenton's two stickers and asked him if mommy could have one for her shirt (what Mom steals her kid's sticker for going potty?) Then proceeded to later throw the stickers away--hello? SCRAPBOOK!! We are soooooooo sitting on the potty like every 30 min. tomorrow. I'll try to get some pics of him on the pot (is that appropriate on a blog?)

BAD blogger

ok....so I'm going through a lazy slump with the blogging....if you haven't noticed. No excuse other than busy and lazy. We went out of town to visit friends this weekend which was really fun but exhausting at times. Trenton had fun playing but was a little out of sorts at times (Amber, if you are reading this you are laughing and thinking of AppleBee's meltdown) Trenton put a whole new meaning to terrible two's/MELTDOWN. Kinda fuuny now that it's over...
Sorry Laci and Meg for all the things that were hurled your way (I'm sure he is sorry)
Hmmmm what else?? I've worked a couple of half days so far this week so I've been cleaning my house. For the most part the house "looks" clean, but I am the master disguiser you see....(that sounds creepy) So that's what I've been up to lately. I'll post pics later

Rollin with Nolan!!

Last night, Matt and I went to a dinner honoring the 1994 Razorback Champion Basketball team. I have to admit, I wasn't all that excited (although getting dressed up is fun)---BUT...it was actually really cool. All the team members stood up and reminssed (sp?) about the good ole days with Nolan. Some of them were really funny and some got a little choked up. The funniest part was at the end when Nolan was talking and he said many have commented on his white hair. He said he was just trying to look like the man who fired him....and then he sat down. Everyone laughed and cheered.

Matt had two Sports Illustrated magazines from 1994 that he had been saving for this moment. We even made me carry a sharpie in my purse. hehe

The band played the fight song and the Razorback announcer annouced the team one by one like they were players again. This is Scotty Thurman, can you tell?!?

Bad picture, all the players and Coach sat at the front.

Getting signatures!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

Yesterday, Trenton, Matt, Michelle, Tyler, Reagan, and I met Dad and Sandy in Springfield, MO for the day. Today is my Dad's birthday (although we celebrated yesterday). We started off the day at Red Lobster and ventured on to Bass Pro. Two of Dad's favorite places!! We all had a blast at Bass Pro. The kids loved all the animals/fish and Dad loved ALL the merchandise!

Sorry Papa, I'm not in the partying mood..... Trenton woke up that morning with a 101.4 temp. Not sick, his lower canines are coming in. He points to his mouth and says "owie" He was not himself, very mellow. (It was actually kinda nice, sorry buddy)

Party Animals!!!!

Happy Birthday Daddio/Papa!!

I KNEW this was going to happen eventually!!

So......it's time for Matt to walk in the door from work and instead of him walking in....he is knocking. I thought he was waiting for Trenton to open the door, so we stood there and he knocks again. I finally open the door to find my lovely husband holding these two frogs. For anyone who KNOWS me, you KNOW I flipped out! I had a hard time taking the picture. They were in our driveway (it just started raining). I guess I have the pond to thank. This could be bad, having a boy in all, and being that close to a pond where frogs and snakes live. One of these days it will be Trenton!! (notice the cowboy hat....Trenton has been wearing it lately. I've been calling him Jerry!)

FREAKY!!!!

Matt's Nana came up tonight and brought us a picture of Little Mattie Roo when he was about 3yo. Brace yourselves for this pic.....I'm finally admitting Trenton is a miniMatt!!! Check this out!!
wow....Matt even wore suits when he was a toddler (minus the poly blend now)

Trenton's 1st baseball game!!

Today after church we headed over the baseball game. Trenton had a blast taking in all the action. We hope to go to more (especially when it gets warmer). Trenton yells "baseball!" and something along the lines of woooo....pig, pig, yeah! A lot of emotion in the "pig pig" part.

wow! He's really into that game...NOT! He's watching the RBI girls!

Trenton did a little jig for us while the music played!

Ok....NOW he's watching the game.
The Razorback caught Trenton and I for a little suprise. I was crouched on the floor by the bathroom changing a poopie diaper (so much fun to do at sporting events- and he let the whole box know he had "poo poo!!") I didn't see him walk in and he stood RIGHT OVER Trenton and waved while he was on the floor! I about pooped MY pants and it's a good thing I had his pants on cause you have never seen a child flip around so fast and jump on ya! He eventually warmed up enought for a "tater" and eventually this pic. He wasn't going to take his eyes off of him!
When it was time to go (time for nappie!!), I said "All right T, ready to go bye bye?" Why do parents ask this question? What do we really expect them to say? Yeah mom, lets go home and leave this exciting place so I can go sleep in my lonely crib. He was SNORING in the car on the way home!

I love Trenton

Here are a few random pics from the last few days. My work week is over so now I can post!
Trenton loves to chunck the football at the wall or door so it makes a loud noise. He LOVES that football!!
Trenton waiting for me to go outside. He found a new place for the football. Did I mention he loves football..

BB, Matt's mom, got him a little fish bowl with fish (fake...my kind of pet) that swim around for Valentine's Day. Their names are "Red" and "Blue" (although they are orange and blue)

Trenton has to be holding a football in the car. He has learned not to throw it at Mama while she is driving. He learned this quickly after we took it away for a few days because he hit me in the head. The kid has a serious spiral.

Here we are the bacteria playground they call Party City. Every 10 min. we had a wippee wipe down. He loved it though so it was worth it (and it's been almost a full week since we went and he still doesn't have the bird flu, amazing)

Trenton says "DUMP TRUCK" when he see's this! All boy....
Some other funny things he is saying is "mess" when we are driving and see all the brush people have at the street. Sometimes he says 'OHHHH Broke!" when he see's all the broken trees.
Last night, we went to the basketball game. He LOVES watching everything! He calls the Razorbacks the "Butterbacks" Sounds kinda yummy...

Future Gymnast?

Today, Trenton and I met Jackson and his sissy, Avery, at The Little Gym. This was our 'trial class'. We joined as soon as we were done. I'm not sure my dreams and aspirations for Trenton were to be wearing spandex one day in the olympics....but looks like that's what were heading for! (ha, just kidding.....we all know he will be on the PGA tour in about 19 years) They had a blast!! Trenton kind of wandered off a lot exploring all the stuff but came back to the circle every now and then to do the fun stuff. He did a forward roll (with me a as a spot) and flipped over my head! The funniest part (and why I think he might be the future Chris Hamm) is when he ventured over to the rings. He was supposed to be on the red mat with everyone else but those rings were a callin his name!! He got up on his tippie toes and snatched those rings right up and started his routine! No fancy dismount yet.....maybe next week. Did I get a picture? Of course not....I'll try next week!

He is supposed to be on the mat with me, but is checking things out!

Hey ladies.....check out my abs!!

Bubble time.....always a favorite!
At the mall getting some lunch after that workout. Trenton and I got Daddy's present...shhhh..

Vaentines Party

Trenton had a Valentines Party at school Friday. Trenton brought his valentines and we stayed to decorate cookies (and eat them too!!)
Like Mother Like Son.....
Trenton put the whole cookie in his mouth. Looks like some kissing lips to me!!

What mom?...you do it all the time.

Playing At The Park

Here are some pics of the Little Man playing at the park. He loves Gulley. Looks like such a big boy!!

Ok, this pic was from a few weeks ago (pre haircut). He stacked up all the cookie sheets and stood on top. He will stack anything up so he can jump of it. Funny pose.....

Ice storm

Well, we survived....barely. We were lucky and only had power out for a day and 1/2. I can't beleive I'm actually saying that. It may not sound "that bad", but let me just tell you, it sucked!! Doesn't take long for your house to become a frozen igloo (even with a gas fireplace) We couldn't even be there during the day. We drove around (warm in car) and hung out at some friends and fam(Tammy). Wal Mart had power for a little bit, so we also hung out there. After our power came on, Amber, David, and girls camped at our house. They finally got power last night. I know some are probably still without. Here are some pics.

I took this today from my car. This is the K-Life house.

Also from my car, this is a house on our street.

Neighbors

Cousins Come to Visit

I'm going to "back blog" a little here. These are from 2 weekends ago. Mom brought Michelle's kiddos here for a couple of days while Michelle had a girls' weekend in K.C. CRAZY times!!
Mini Michelle
Is he really 3 feet tall? I just noticed the measurement behind his head...

Tyler just chillin....what else does Tyler do?

Weeeeeee!

How many animals do you need......really?
