Two small arms to hold you tight, two small feet to run, two small eyes full of love for you, three small sons.

Hayes is here!

Well, this post is a little late...Hayes has been here almost a week now.  He was born 1 day earlier than "planned" (scheduled c section).  My body actually tried to have a baby on its own!!  Miracle, I know.  We went to bed last Wed. night and I was pretty sure I was having contractions.  I never had ANY with the other 2 boys so I wasn't really sure.  Trevor was sick with fever and snot so I got 1 hour of sleep from 9:30-10:30 before he woke up and needed me.  We were up til about 1:00am.  The whole time I was having contractions about every 10 min.  All I could think was I'm going to have a baby and I'm still up and rocking with another baby!!  Matt finally got him to sleep a little after 1:00.  I got up to go to bathroom (for the umpteenth time) and my water broke!!   I broke the news to Matt (who had not gotten any sleep either) and we showered and called Gigi.  She came over to stay with boys while we headed to the hospital.  They confirmed that my water did break and said "well lets have a baby!".  So my plan didn't go according to plan.  No last min. hair and nail appt for me!!  Slightly devevastating for a few min but I got over it! :)  Hayes has been super easy (aren't all newborns easy?  once you have toddlers you will realize this).  He sleeps/eats/poops...repeat.

He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz and was 21 inches long.  At his 5 day appt. he was 7lb 6 oz.  Should be back up to birth weight by 2 weeks.  Very healthy sweet  boy.
This picture cracks me up.  This is really how excited Trenton is.  He is such a great big brother already, now he gets to show off his skills again!
Disregard the cheeto face...This pic was taken several hours after we were home.  Trev didnt' make it to the hospital because he was sick and I didn't think he would do ok.  He is a MAMA's boy and if he saw me he would want to be ON me (which he couldn't).  So far-so good.  He doesn't mind at all when I'm holding and feeding Hayes.  He kind of more or less ignores him (which is ok with me).  He smiles when he sees him and that's all I can ask for.
I leave you with one of my favortie pictures ever!  This ACTUALLY happened FOR REAL on Sunday night when all the company left.  All 3 boys SACKED OUT!!!  That will never happen again..

Clippers Basketball

Today ended the season for Trenton's 1st basketball team, the Clippers.  It was entertaining to say the least!  Trenton really tried hard this last game to get the ball and either pass it to someone or shoot it.  He got the ball, ran to the the opponents basket....stopped when everyone yelled at him, dribbled towards his basket and passed the ball to his teammate!  He was so excited he came over the the bleachers and told me all about it (like I wasn't watching).

Dribbling and looking at the camera....impressive I must say!

Trenton and Jackson getting ready for name announcement at the beginning of the game.

The starting lineup!

Jackson trying to decide whether or not he's going to go out on the court.  I begged and begged so I could get his picture.....it took a while, but........

HE DID IT!!  Coach Sean putting on his armband.  Trenton providing entertainment.  The coach agreed with me that Trenton would probably love to be the mascot one day. :)

And that's all my blog will let me upload.....so frustrating!

We are so proud of all the boys and how far everyone came during the season.  HUGE difference between today's game and the 1st game.    Can't wait to do it again!  Next up, karate!

On another note....I am ready to pop.  5 more days until Hayes makes his arrival.  We are so ready and excited to meet him.  I have a feeling he's going to be bigger than his brothers were.  We'll see I guess....

Update

I haven't blogged in a while for a couple of reasons.  #1-When my kids don't need need me (naptime/bedtime) I choose to do other things.....like sleep/clean/laundry.  If Trevor sees me on the computer he freaks out and wants to push the buttons so that really limits my time on here.   And reason #2-My pics won't stinking upload (I'm not frustrated about this at all).  It takes 30 min for just 2 or 3 to upload, then the others NEVER do so I have to cancel the whole upload.  If anyone can help me with this that would be GREAT.

Christmas was great of course.  Trenton is at such a fun age.  Trevor got pretty excited about a few things then moved on to the next one.  We are early birds around here (not by parents choice) so we were DONE with presents by 7:00.  I hope to look back at this blog one day and laugh at that sentence.  Oh I hope how I can laugh......  We went to church ( I love Christmas on Sunday!) and then just came home and played with new games/toys.

Trevor is 18 months and becoming such a big boy.  He is communicating some (which is such a huge help at this age).  A simple "no" or "yeah!!" helps me figure him out.  He repeats a lot of words and says a few on his own.  His favorite thing in this world is bananas.  I can't keep them stocked.  He wakes up and says "nana" until you deliver.  I hope you can't OD on potassium (we already have if it's possible).  When we go through sonic-he knows he's getting another banana.  McDonalds has also brainwashed him.....he points and screams when he sees the golden arches.  He's a fan of their pancakes.

Trenton is keeping us on our toes as well.  He keeps us laughing (and yelling) everyday.  His latest quote "Darth Vader isn't bad, he just has bad plans."  Great...he can defend villians.  Future lawyer?  Lets hope not...no offense anyone.

Baby Hayes is coming Feb 3 2012 (9:00am to be exact).  He moves all the time which mostly makes me smile but sometimes makes me say "Ow!"  In his free time he enjoys tapdancing on my bladder and hiccuping.    All my boys had hiccups several times a day.  He doesn't have a room yet but there are plans for one.  I have bedding and supplies stashed anywhere I can fit them in random closets.  As long as I have diapers when he comes home I'll be fine (funny how things change!).

Hopefully I'll figure out the pic thing soon.   Happy new year!!

Fall and Walking

Trevor has been walking really good for about 3-4 weeks now.  Haven't done an offical post on it yet.  It was nice not having to chase a clumsy toddler around for awhile but I must say, it was actually getting harder with him crawling for so long.  16 months!!!!  He is much more independent now and this preggo mamma doesn't have to carry him so much.  We are trying to "train" him before Hayes gets here.
We have been spending as much time outside as possible.  The weather has been awesome and we are going to take advantage of every min. we can.  I know what happens around here in Jan. and Feb. and I'm not looking forward to being cooped up with 3 kids.
Trenton the monkey...Matt and I planted this maple in our backyard 8 years ago.  It's getting huge!  Good climbing tree for all the boys around here.
So I don't know how to move pictures on my blog (pathetic).  I had to add one more of Trev walking...so stinking cute.  The boys spent a few hours outside last week playing in the leaves (darn maple).  I forgot how entertaining nature could be.  The next pic is Trevor bundled up and ready for our 1 mile fun run (slight jog/mostly walk for me!).  My sis Michelle signed us all up for the 1 mile so she could do the 5k.  She is a champ...running a 5K somewhere every stinking weekend.  40 mph wind that day.  I ended up zipping Trev up in his buggy!
After the race....still full of energy.  Nothing slows down kids.

Baby Hayes update.  I have a little over 2 months to go.  I will sched. my csection in a few weeks.  Feeling pretty good.....I guess.  That wasn't very convincing I know.  I don't know if I'm really that "tired" but just feeling "lazy".  I don't feel like doing anything.  The thought of decorating my house for Christmas makes me moan...how sad is that?  I am not really stressing that we have done nothing to prepare our house for him.  We will be converting our playroom into Trenton's bedroom and I don't want to give up that room until I absolutley need to.  I am planning on getting to work during my maternity leave (while the other 2 are at school).  Funny how much changes with every baby.  Can't wait to see what he looks like and have him here with us.  I think he's going to be a "crazy haysie".  Don't want to label him too early but by the way he moves constantly I have a feeling he might not be as laid back as Trev.

Halloween Post #2

 Cutest..Puppy..Ever!!!!
Trevor is offically a full time walker (except at church today...Jennifer and Brittany said he crawled??)

Trenton (Captain America) and his cousin Cam (scary vampire).  They had a blast trick or treating (2nd year for this).  Our neighborhood gets pretty crowded but it's still fun letting them run from house to house.    Scroll down to the next post....more halloween!

Halloween Party

Ugh, uploading pics has been horrible for me lately.  I can't do more than 5, it takes FOREVER, and I don't know how to move my pictures around!!!!  So. here is what I've got so far....sorry.   1st pic:  Trenton picked a new costume out of the closet for his friend Cole's halloween party Sunday.  Wasn't feelin the Captin America thing I guess.  Amanda, Cole's mom, had the cutest festive food.  Everything was super cute!
Trenton and his buds from school.  Cole and Crawfod make up the three amigos.

The kids had so much fun with this game.  They had to keep their hands behind their backs and eat the donut from the string.  It was harder that it looked!
Capri suns wrapped in white tape...mummies!!
I'm afriad Trenton's teeth may look like this soon if we don't throw away all the candy!
Witch cupcakes. I think I might do another post to show more pics....if I can.  Trev was super cute in his puppy costume...

Getting Ready for Trick or Treaters!

Trenton is getting ready for the trick or treaters tomorrow night!  He loves his new eyeball glasses.
BB (Matt's mom) brought the kids some halloween goodies this weekend.  She got these cute faces that stick in the pumpkins...no carving this year.  Kinda nice I must say.

Here is our big pumpkin that we have had for a few weeks now.  It's rotten!!  Right below his mouth...he had a "blowout".
Front door spider...got this at Sam's for like $11 I think.  Love me some halloween! Can't wait to get the costumes on.  More pics to come soon.....

The Great Outdoors

There a few things that little boys need in this world. #1 is Mama for sure.  The others include sunshine, rocks, sticks, dirt, and creepy crawlies.  Some of my fam went camping last weekend on Beaver lake.  I did not brave the elements with the boys overnight but we went out for the day and had so much fun.  I can't wait to take all these boys out there in a few years and spend the night.  Trev found a chair just his size.
Aunt T (my sis Tammy).  See how close they are to the lake?  Sooooo pretty!
Trenton and his cousin Cam.  This is right below their tent.
 My mom and stepdad Gary.
 Trev...sun in face.
Cam the man.  I had more pics uploading but they won't for some reason!  I'll try later....
On another note-Trevor finally started walking on Sunday! Yes, he is 16 1/2 months old.  Funny thing is he can totally walk by himself  but has still preferred to crawl the majority of the time the past few days.  I'm ready for him to stop wearing out the knees in his pants!!  Funny little boy.

Halloween's A Comin!

Ok, so I love me some Halloween.  Sounds wierd, I know....I'm not into anything "evil" or scary but love all the "cute" decorations, the pumpkins, and of course dressing up my kids to get candy.  Last weekend, we made pumpkin pancakes.  Trenton thought they were "so super awesome" of course.

Dang, my pic is sideways... We used chocolate chips for the faces.  Trenton has been trying to scare me with that spider for weeks.  I pretend to jump and scream e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y.  He found it appropriate to be in this picture....which it was.   More halloween to come...

Busy Boys

I've been a lazy blogger these days.  Here are some random pics of the boys in the last few weeks.  Trev loves his paci and brown blankie.  Trenton is still attatched to his "blue blank" so I have a feeling you will see "brownie" for a couple of years.
Also loves peek a boo (what baby doesn't).
Captain serious, I mean superman.  When he doesn't have on a cape, he is wearing a captain america costume or a spiderman costume.   He keeps us laughing.
Trevor's favorite thing to do...make huge messes, in a matter of seconds.  It s a specialty of his.....and he is very good at it!
The boys last Sat.-game day.  T. rev loves a jeep ride from bro.  Trenton is so sweet to put his hand behind his head everytime he pushes the gas pedal so he doesn't bonk his head on the seat back.....he remembers EVERY time

Funny story this morning--I gave Trenton a fake American Express card that was cardboard.  It was just part of the junkmail.  I told him he could have his own credit card.  First thing he does with it- goes over to my bedroom door, shuts it and triees to open the door through the crack with the card.  He looks at me and says "This card doesn't work."  Wow--now that's a lifeskill I didnt even have to teach.
